Gus:
Brush clearing is good therapy for "dry drunks" and that is what GWB is. He needs the bike riding and brush clearing. Some think he is "off the wagon" with his incoherence at some of his public appearances when he is "unrehearsed." Me, I think he is just in a further stage of his drug/alcohol consequences and his utterances just prove it.
It's anecdotal, but I have noticed that a lot of recovering drunks drift into dementia. I think this is the case regarding Bush. I have heard a recording of a speech he made in the mid-90's, and he was twice as coherent.
I"ve heard George Bush eats kittens for breakfast after a heavy night of drinking. Says it's good for his hangovers. What have you heard?
Tico:

I have it from a very good source that he loves Tequila Sunrises and pickles.
Advocate is correct, however. When he was running for Governor of Texas, he was coherent and there were no ums and uhs and ers to fill in with his nonsensical BS.
Tico, are saying that Bush eats pussies? Does Larda know about this?
Larda=Laura, huh, Advocate? I almost forgot her real name.

I kept thinking Pickles!!!
Just a slip of the tongue.
BTW, did you know Jim Webb's wife, who served as a nurse in Nam. He is the author and former Sec. of the Navy who is running for the Senate in VA. I knew them when I lived in VA.
I like Webb and hope his poll numbers improve against George Felix Allen. I did not know his wife was a nurse. Nurses, especially military nurses, know what happens to men and now women that are in combat.
Webb should beat him....he is a mental light weight. But its Virginia, dontcha know?
It's interesting how you can sometimes just know something with virtually no supporting facts. For instance, I always had a very strong feeling that privately, Jimmy Carter was some kind of awful sadist. I just kind of knew it. I'm pretty sure.

What's interesting is how you wingnuts can ignore the facts.

No, what's interesting is your evations when asked to provide any facts. Give an example, for instance, of any impeachable offense committed by George Bush. I know you can't and won't.
Bush doesn't believe in diplomatic ties with a host of countries that he doesn't like. This may be the reason for Iran and N. Korea developing nukes, and the growth of the conflicts between Israel and Hamas, as well as Hez.
In contrast, President Carter, following the 1971 conflict between Israel and Egypt, negotiated a peace between the two countries that still exists.
Bush is a dangerous failure who continues to damage our country.

President Carter severed diplomatic ties with Iran in 1980.

Opinions as this make me wonder if there is any hope. The sheer ignorance of history, the ignorance of reality, the lack of any common sense whatsoever...... I hope some of the opinions on this forum are more unusual in the general population. If they aren't, we are all in big trouble.

How about this opinion, okie? The leaders of N. Korea and Iran saw how easily the US disposed of Saddam, who had no nukes. By contrast, Bush is tiptoing delicately around N. Korea and Iran.
More sheer ignorance?

And what happened in Iran that forced Carter to do just that?

Iran and North Korea were developing nukes before Bush and regardless of Bush. And terrorists have been attacking Israel long before Bush. At least Bush isn't helping North Korea, as Clinton did, or as Clinton might do for Iran if he was still in office.

Smoke & mirrors. Tico's dog and pony show. Tico's stock in trade.

Yup, Bush and the neo-cons have had the kind of success that will certainly make all future US governments and other countries follow in their footsteps.
How do people like this function on a day to day basis?
