We come from tax paying, law abiding citizens, from families that fought for your freedom to spout your stupidity and that have supported schools and universities where you can become the intelligentsia elite.

So do we you unutterable cretin.

What, you think only the extreme right work?

Or become cannon fodder?

Talk about elitis thinking!

Your ignorance and stupid prejudices appall anything with a functioning brain and should even appall you.

Next time you go to parrot that idiotic elitist accusation against the left, look at the tree trunk in your own eye in the hopes that you may realise how laughable you are before you show everyone else.

dlowan, Thank you; I was beginning to think that the more liberal of thinkers were becoming voiceless like the democratic party in our country. I'll fight this battle alone if I must, but it's good to hear some support once-in-awhile.

Aargh.....I just sank to its level by becoming abusive towards it.

But, one can only take so much, and listening to that robotic programmed drivel trickling from yet another orifice annoys from time to time.

Jesus wept, and it hurls accusations of elitism while saying that nobody but its extremist buddies contributes anything! Its arrogance is sickening.

I know; the devil made me do it. Trying to lead the "blind" is very difficult when they do not wish to learn from evidence available in the media and search engines. They think they are all liars, and twists the facts to sell newspapers to liberals.

A most cool insult --- but wait, dlowan and her Liberal ilk are not into insults. They are the manifestations of the universal love factor.

Only the most ignorant and/or evil commentary is deserving of a withering response from the Leftist Oz Bunny.

A wee something for the delusional ones. No names needed.

Lying For Empire

How to commit war crimes with a straight face.
The lies and war crimes of 8 presidents.

I am a college professor who was inspired to write this book after viewing documentaries with my students about American interventions which resulted in crimes against humanity. The images of people losing their families and homes drove my decision to expose the lies and atrocities perpetrated by American presidents.

At the same time, I believe that the time is right for this type of book. The Bush administration's disingenuous justifications for the most recent war against Iraq in 2003 have piqued people's interest in the subject. My book will grab people's attention as it exposes the lies which eight presidents told to the American people and Congress since World War II and, more importantly, exposes the war crimes they have committed.

JTT, I'm now reading "Secrets" by Daniel Ellsberg on the lies perpetrated by Johnson and McNamara to start the Vietnam war. He was privy to top secret information, and now is revealing all the lies and the damage done to America, and the needless deaths and killings of that war.

I'm glad to see somebody finally brave enough to reveal the Bush tyranny against the Iraqi People on lies and innuendos about Saddam's WMDs and connection to al Qaida.

I'm hoping that the republicans pay big time during the forseeable future in the coming elections. They're a party to the Bush murdering fields after the truth was revealed, and they did nothing. They haven't even taken action after the tortures of prisoners, and illegal wiretaps against American citizens. Even the Abramoff scandles have not touched this administration even though we know most of the buck went to the republican party.

Our only hope now is Patrick Fitzgerald's investigations. We need to see some indictments against the higher ups in this administration.

We are supposed to be a country of laws; and this president thinks he's above it all.

JTT, An excellent question for those that seek to overthrow other countries in the name of "security and the spreading of democracy" without understanding the consequences of trying to force our kind of democracy on countries not ready for it. While we try to bring democrdacy to the middle east, our government slowy takes away our Constitutional and Bill of Rights. Doesn't make any sense.

A poster has indicated that since I made an error and ascribed a statement to a poster who had not made it, he could not ever believe anything I posted from now on.

He is not required to believe anything, but he is challenged to check out the link or sources I use. If those links or sources are correct, I really do not care very much about the feelings of a poster.

The bottom line is, of course, is the data given accurate and is the source reliable.

I will give an example:

http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/stories/1998/12/16/transcripts/clinton.html

quote President Clinton on 12/28/1998

"The hard fact is that so long as Saddam remains in power, he threatens the well-being of his people, the peace of his region, the security of the world"

No one NEEDS to believe that statement is the statement of President Clinton in his 12/28/1998 speech, but it is a FACT.

Noam Chomsky: Why it's over for America

An inability to protect its citizens. The belief that it is above the law. A lack of democracy. Three defining characteristics of the 'failed state'. And that, says Noam Chomsky, is exactly what the US is becoming. In an exclusive extract from his devastating new book, America's leading thinker explains how his country lost its way.

Of course, that's merely your opinion and a completely uniformed one to boot. You've really outdone yourself here, McG. You simply can't handle the truth. You're like a little child who denies his daddy's a drunk.

Better than believing the junk Noam writes about. You are like a child who denies your mom is a whore. Perhaps if you had a daddy, you wouldn't believe such gibberish.

Anytime Chomsky comes up, people attack Chomsky and not what he is saying.
Care to (first, read Chomsky, and then) specifically criticize something he has claimed....or do you prefer to lump him....over there in the pile of stuff you don't read.

Chomsky likes to speculate and write towards his intended audiance, the synchophants that hang on his every word as though they mean something.

He writes the US is heading towards a "failed state", that's his opinion. It's BS, but people like to believe it because they hate Bush and anything that criticizes Bush is A-OK in their book.

There is no sense in debating what he says because it doesn't matter. Those that beleive what he writes won't listen to opposing viewpoints so there is no need for me to waste my time. Chomsky writes for a living, he is good at it, far better than I.

So, I will continue accusing Chomsky of being a hack and you can continue believing he isn't.
