So whats the problem?
He is on his ranch in this pic.
The left complains that he spends to much time on vacation, and what he does on his own property on vacation is not your or my concern.
When he is on govt time that is a different matter.

You are aware that he gets paid while on vacation?

You are paying him to clear brush. He's taken far, far more vacation then any other president, ever; therefore, you should be concerned with the fact that he's going mountain-biking and taking trips to the ranch... on your dime.

I also get pain when I am on vacation. So I think it is rather irrelavent to the current discussion that he is paid while on vacation, don't you Cy?

Now maybe you have a complaint that he takes too many vacations, but then again what is too many when someone is on call 24 hrs a day when he is working (and actually on call 24 hrs a day while on vacation too, in this instance.)

You can only compare the amount he's taken - during a war, by the way - to other presidents, who took far less.

I think there's a fair argument that his absence increases the ability of our gov't to function correctly; so I'm not entirely against his vacationing Laughing

Another 'Toe-Tapping' Republican Politician
'Times-Pic' Exposes Another 'Toe-Tapping' Politician
By E&P Staff
Published: October 05, 2007 10:00 PM ET

The Times-Picayune of New Orleans has revealed that records it had obtained showed that local Republican St. Bernard Parish Councilman Joey DiFatta has been stopped twice since 1996 for suspicion of engaging in lewd behavior in public restrooms in the area.

DiFatta, 53, on Thursday mysteriously withdrew from a state senate campaign, citing chest pains.

The paper reported that he "acknowledged that reports he had been stopped are true, but he denied any wrongdoing in both cases. He said he was not prosecuted in either case and has no arrest record.

The newspaper posted documents pertaining to the incidents. One of them was reminiscent of the "toe-tapping" episode involving Sen. Larry Craig.

The paper reported:

"Kenner police issued a misdemeanor summons to DiFatta in September 1996 in connection with a peeping Tom incident in a men's bathroom at the former Mervyn's department store at The Esplanade mall, according to a Kenner Police Department incident report obtained by The Times-Picayune.

"The report states that DiFatta watched a man use the bathroom while peering through a hole in a bathroom stall. The man held DiFatta until police arrived, at which time he was issued the misdemeanor summons and ordered to appear in court.

"DiFatta said the man eventually withdrew his complaint, and the case was dismissed. A spokeswoman for the Kenner Police Department said the record was expunged.

"In the second incident, Jefferson Parish deputies working an undercover detail in a men's bathroom at Dillard's at Lakeside Shopping Center in March 2000 stopped DiFatta after he indicated a desire to engage in sex with an undercover deputy in an adjoining bathroom stall, according to an interoffice memorandum written by Sgt. Keith Conley, one of the deputies involved in the investigation.

"The report said DiFatta slid his foot into the deputy's stall and tapped the deputy's foot. In the report, Conley noted that such activity is common among men to indicate a willingness to participate in sex.

"The deputy inside the stall, Detective Wayne Couvillion, responded by tapping his foot, and DiFatta reached under the partition and began to rub the deputy's leg, the report states....

"The incident did not culminate in an arrest because the deputy in the bathroom with DiFatta terminated the investigation after several children entered the bathroom, the report states. Conley noted in the report that DiFatta appeared well-versed and comfortable with the routine."

Stupidest. Guy. Ever.

State Rep in Washington (state). Republican, of course. Married, kids. Out of town on business.

Chats with much younger guy in porno store.

Engages in sexual acts with him in a space in the establishment.

Which include him dressed up in stockings, womens lingerie, sequinned top.

Promises the guy $1000 to have sex with him. Unprotected sex.

Proceeds to take him to the fanciest hotel in town. To watch gay porno and more.

Then gives him $200 and refuses to give more.

When guy in question subsequently tries to blackmail him for the rest of the money, doesnt just not give him the money. No, instead - calls a befriended, Republican police honcho out of his home district to deal with it.

Then, when honcho refers case back to our dear State Rep's home district, tells the detectives at home he'd like to keep the whole story quiet, and whines that he wished he'd just paid the money.

Now it's in the local newspaper..

Like I said - Very. Stupid. Guy.

Police report sheds new light on Curtis encounter

Tuesday, October 30, 2007
By JEFFREY MIZE, Columbian Staff Writer

State Rep. Richard Curtis, R-La Center, admitted to having sex with a man he met at an adult video store in Spokane last week, according to a police report released Tuesday afternoon.

The police report offers a damning and far different version of events from the brief account Curtis gave to The Columbian Monday, one that seems likely to threaten Curtis' political future.

The report is filled with graphic details of an encounter that began at a porn store on a Spokane Valley strip and concluded miles away in Curtis' room at the city's poshest hotel.

The police report contains an account of how Curtis allegedly donned women's clothing, red stockings and a black sequined lingerie top before engaging in a sex act at the store. He continued to wear them throughout the night under his clothing.

Spokane police have finished their investigation and referred the case to the prosecutors for possible filing of extortion charges against Cody M. Castagna.

Castagna is a 26-year-old waiter from the Spokane area who allegedly tried to blackmail Curtis for $1,000 and threatened to reveal his "gay lifestyle" to the lawmaker's wife if he did not pay.

Curtis, 48, is married and has two daughters. The two-term legislator and retired fire department captain was in Spokane last week for a retreat with other Republican lawmakers in preparation for the 2008 Legislature.

During a brief phone interview with Columbian Editor Lou Brancaccio Monday afternoon, Curtis said he did not have sex with the man and is not gay.

According to the police report, Curtis allegedly offered to pay $1,000 to have unprotected sex with Castagna.

State Rep. Richard Curtis, R-La Center, who on Monday declared, "I have not had sex with a guy," told police he was the victim in an extortion attempt by Castagna at the posh Davenport Tower hotel on Oct. 26, search warrant documents said.[/size]

Stockings when having anonymous sex. Of course. But I think he missed the part where you should wear the stocking over your head so no one will recognize you later.

Yes. It's why I always carry four stockings (mesh) into any booth in a porn store.

What Parados!

Are you suggesting that there could have been something that might have clued this guy into thinking that this could end up being something more than anonymous sex?

Indeed, it ain't. Poor conflicted bastards. Pity too as those sexual demons are really quite a lot of fun when they come out into the open to play.

What's with the tapping business on public toilets anyway? Isn't it safer for repressed homosexuals to hook up in adults-only internet chatrooms? (Serious question, by the way.)

The thrill of possibly getting caught plus the enjoyment of the ritual etc. I suspect.

I don't know, Thomas. Actually, I never really understood what Craig {sp??} was charged with. Is it illegal to try to pick up a willing adult?

Can we compile a full list of the major republican and republican religious leaders indicted in sex scandals in the past seven years.

If you want, you can leave out extramarital affairs like the one that the speaker of the house during Clinton had while impeaching clinton for the same thing.

You can also exclude hilarous crimes like Bush's Chief of Staff stealing socks from Target and Rush Limbaugh being addicted to pain pills if you wish.

Still I think the list is easily over 20, compared to maybe a fourth of that on the democratic and liberal leaders side.

Squinney regularly updates this thread with new Repub perverts, Centroles, as do others.

One has to wonder why these folks don't just do a Geraldine,

The devil made me do it!

Actually someone has compiled a list and if you'd like to make a quick 100 bucks, try this;

Great Dem ad that challenges people to read a list of Republicans either indicted or under criminal investigation. $100 if they can read the list in one breath.
