I'm a new, self-loathing Idol Addict. I have finally succumbed. The only other TV shows I watch are Conan O'Brien and Cosby reruns.

I used to take pride in knowing nothing of what goes on during primetime. Now look at me.

I do think it's refreshing that Idol is a Reality TV show that features real-looking people. That's why that young dude is necessary.

This gig will get him tons of pussy in like ten years, so no need to feel sorry for him. BVT is right, he's gotten this far purely based on confidence, and that will work for him when it comes to the females.

Awww c'mon shewolfnm, you have to give Kevin credit. He is the youngest and most inexperienced on the show. But, he comes out there every time with confidence and his own style. He can't sing worth a lick, true, but he makes my heart smile. Can you imagine how hard it would be for anyone to get up on that stage and do what they do? No way could I do it.

Sometimes public appeal can carry someone a long way regardless of their amount of or quality of talent.

And ya got to admit it, he can handle Simon pretty well! :wink:

I have been so worried about kickycan being abducted by that band of nymphomaniac Amazons that I completely forgot about Idol tonight! I just saw the girl sing "I'm Gonna Love You" but hadn't seen anyone beforehand. Anyone can ya catch me up?

LOL. I love to watch Taylor perform. That wasn't the best song for him I don't think, but it was one heck of a performance. The audience loved him! I say we lynch Simon.

I agree with Simon almost everytime but Taylor's performance had that audience hopping. Anyone that can get an audience that involved, has something. I see his point, just don't agree with it.

I was just talking to hubby about the girl. I think she'd be great on a Broadway stage but she brings no emotion to the music. Doesn't do a thing for me. I think you are right. She's outta there.
