Neil, you seem to have a lot of opinions.

But that's all they are: your opinions. And, for what it's worth to you, they seem to be minority opinions.

And "talk", did you even bother to read any of the over 60 articles in my fourm proving are wrong you are before you said they were a neo-con version?

I strongly doubt it as your most probably neither open-minded or intelligent enough to have done so.

Nope, you act like you are one of those who think they know
everything when they really know next to nothing.

In a leader in The Independent today

NEO-CON ALLIES DESERT BUSH OVER IRAQ

These are the right-wing intellectuals who demanded George Bush invade Iraq. Now they admit they got it wrong. Are you listening, Mr President?

I didn't write this. See if you have the gumption, and the open-mindedness and intelligence, to read it.

Really?

1. The majority of the people are normaly WROMG!

So being in a minority is not bad.

2. Right and Wrong is NOT up to a vote. Never has been and never will be.

3. Many people in general & all anti-war people in particluar have from little, to no clue what the difference between mere opinon and fact is.

4. What I have said about Iraq is NOT my mere "opinion" it IS FACT!

And if some people are TOO clueless to know FACTS is NOT my problem, it is theirs.

Jeeze. get a clue!

1. When you give someone a link to a newspaper with MANY articles, you tell them WHICH article you want them to read.

2. Why should I read an article which says we did not land on the moon when I know we did?

Or one which say gravity is not a fact? OR one which says evolution is not a fact?

3. There is NO information you can give me which will change PROVEN facts!

NONE which will change the fact Iraq's WMD were moved to Syria and Libya. Or a friend of mine in Special Forces did not find drums of Saran IN IRAQ.

NONE which will change the FACT Saddam gave safe haven to terrorists who were known to have killed Americans & another one the King of Jorden asked Saddam to return to Jorden.

NONE which will change the fact that Saddam trained at least 8,000 terrorists. OR that he supported, funded and prvided intelligence to terrorists.

OR he had links to Al Quada going back to 1996 (or before) and that
Saddams own people carried out terrorist attacks.

And if others are ignorant of these facts, it is because they have not paid as much attention to what is going on over there as I have or they are too stupid to understand
what went on.

The PROOF was there before the war and captured Iraqi documents, audio tapes and what former high ranking Iraqis have testified since just further prove it.

So children, go live with the rest of the troglodytes and wallow in your deep dark caves of ignorance, while those of us who have a clue protect you from the bad guys.

Look Child,

I care less what some supposed right wing intellectuals say or do not say.

I do NOT like the Right Wing any more than I like the Loonly Left. and that is NOT AT ALL!

I do NOT need OTHERS to make up MY mind or to interpet facts for me. I am more than damn well smart enough, experienced enough and knowledgeable enough to make up my own mind BASED ON THE FACTS!

It seems to me that we disagree on only one issue: holding them incommunicado.

I think we are in agreement that torture is a gross violation of the law.

I think we are in agreement that it is a violation to deny them due process.

And I think we are in agreement that captured soldiers can be held until the end of the war.

You are part of the military-industrial complex and what Ike said is true.

Ike had issues with weaponry for some reason.

He was always trying to bolster his image by pretending he opposed the A-bombings of Japan. And when he was president, he tried to push limitations on the ability of the military to target the Soviets with bombs greater than two megatons.

It is probably Ike's fault that we no longer maintain any of the great "city-buster" H-bombs today.

Well, I was raised thinking Ike was a lot more squared away than he really was.

Now, reading "AN ARMY AT DAWN" I am finding out things about him I never knew.

It is a suoer book and if you are into history, I suggest you read it.

Noni,

Can I ask you a question, please? You seem rather, uh, irritated concerning this issue?

BTW, I support our troops and I would like to thank you for your past service to our country.

The link leads to an article by Rupert Cornwell.
That's the one.
Sorry if it's got a lot of words, and no pictures.

Torture is ALWAYS wrong?

Really?

Do you have a person you love or care about a lot?

How about if this person is buried in a box with only a few hours of air left before they die and the ONLY way to find them in time to save them is to ortue the person who knows where they are?

How about there is an atomic bomb in your city which is going to go off in a few hours and the only way to find and disarm it is by torturing someone?

How are things there with Alice in Woderland? (cause you sure ain't in the real world.)

No. Torture is always illegal.

Whether it is right or wrong is more a matter of opinion than anything else.
