Thank you, Eva! Thank you, mac11! Your support means the world to me!
My niece and nephew are absolute GEMS in my life.....My niece is three years old, so she's a bit moody and noncompliant right now. In fact, she and I did not have the greatest time during this visit.....I don't do too well with little people.....if I haven't mentioned it already.....
We did manage to have one good day ~ just the two of us. We made cupcakes together.....but I let her do everything. And the cupcakes turned out to be mouth-watering delicious.....
My nephew, on the other hand.....No joke ~ everytime the child saw me, he smiled, giggled or held his hands out to me. He fell asleep on my shoulder more times than I can count.....
Cigarettes? I don't think so.....I'd much rather hold my babies.....
Good for you Rae!!! Way to go girl!!! :-D
Doing my best, Olga! Thanks!
Hey, Rae!
14 days? That's two weeks! Everybody says the first couple of weeks are the hardest, so it must get easier and easier from here on out!
Proud of you.
Yay Rae!
(OK, so I'm repetitive, but I mean it, and it rhymes!)
You crack me up, sozobe! You go ahead and repeat yourself as much as you like!
One thing I've noticed since quitting is that I have to brush my teeth more often.....and that deodorant only works when you use it.....
Your sense of smell is returning! YAY!!! I bet food is starting to taste much better, too.
I notice a lovely, natural, pink hue to Rae's cheeks too!
She gave her son the greatest gift in the world, more years!
Way to go Rae!
Ya mean my cheeks and lips are not supposed to be blue?
If I slap myself, I'll have the pink hue to my cheeks too...
have y'all noticed that Letty hasn't showed up on this here thread... just a thought...
Yippee, Rae!
oh, that sense of smell thing. <<sigh>> it's an issue, all right.
Eva ~ food still tastes the same. There's no way my taste buds couldn't have been affected after 20+ years of smoking, but I haven't noticed any change.
WhooHooooooooooo!
good going, Rae!
