Nah, just neutered ... he would settle down a lot! I don't think burning would be very nice. I'm pretty much an animal lover, as long as it's not rabid!

I'd love to see how many of the Keep the Christ in Christmas crew in this thread is lusting after blood in the kill Tookie thread. That would be interesting...

Although I take issue with your characterization, I would be interested both in keeping Christ in Christmas and seeing Tookie get his due tomorrow a.m.

I'd be interested to see how many of the "Save Tookie" people are enthused about killing unborn babies in the "Abortion" thread.

No, dys. Was there anything in my post that would cause you to think that's what I was saying?

I could tell you, but then I'd have to shoot you. Remember, it's a secret conspiracy.

That's another good point, given that O'Reilly has neither the perceptive abilities to have ferretted it out on his own, nor is he certainly going to be vouchsafed the details of deeply laid librul plans, why should we believe he would know?

Fox News: Holidays 10, Xmas 0 on a single webpage

(From the diaries. Poor O'Relly isn't just surrounded by the enemy... he's employed by the enemy! -- kos)

The point has already been made by Olbermann and many others, but this Fox web page really does demonstrate the point with a certain overwhelming finality: ten uses of the word "holiday."

Not even one use of the word "Christmas."

Since the page would be changed shortly, whether or not they were already in the habit of covering their butts (and I caught O'Reilly's page being changed just 16 hours after one of his own pages was pointed out in this Kos diary), here's a screengrab saved from 8 pm PST 12 Dec 2005.

Enjoy.

UPDATE: Found another one. It's at least eleven. My bad.

I haven't marked the last one on the screengrab, since it's kinda fun to play along in a Highlights For Children, find-the-baseball-in-the-tree sort of way.

He must hate his job...

heck, even BillOReilly.com still has holidays in it! the banner and title bar on his Christmas Shipping Information page says HOLIDAY SHIPPING INFORMATION. Razz

http://wwwl.billoreilly.com/pg/jsp/help/general/holidayshippinginformation.jsp

they better fix it soon, so his fans can lift the boycott of his online store in time for Christmas.

What I find interesting right now (there's something ridiculous every day to be amused by in this fight) is this:

Why is this campaign happening now, when, due to growing communities of non-Christian folks in this country, America is becoming more diverse (i.e., less Christian)?

What are Gibson and O'Reilly fighting--the language being used or population trends? What we may really have here is good old Know Nothingism...
