quite a nice day today. 12 C and some sunshine. quite a stiff breeze blowing out of the south-west; some hardy souls were out on lake ontario on their sailboards, but i prefer to stay on dry land - but do like to ride the ferry across the lake when the wind is blowing. hbg

first snow of the season ! one minute the sun is shining, and the next minute black clouds are moving in - zowie ! the snow is actually blowing in from the southeast - not from the north -, it's particularly heavy along 'georgian bay- that's about 300 km southeast of here. some of the snow is accumulating along the fence and hedge rows. ... SNOWTIRES ... hbg

It's a balmy 74 'round these parts. After an interminable humid summer, the last few days have been a glorious relief.

Weather in Hong Kong, warm, humid, quite pleasant to walk around in if you don't walk too fast. Today I was on the Kowloon ferry, quite a choppy crossing passing all manner of craft, and I had a stroll along the waterfront walkway there. It felt kind ot thundery but I am assured by the locals that this is quite normal for here, and no thunderstorm will develop.
Anyway, shorts, shirtsleeves and sandals weather.

8:35 pm, a beautiful 70F evening ... today occasional cloudiness, a few sprinkles now and then, and a lovely breeze.

Who could ask for anything more? Windows and doors are all open and fantastic fresh air blowing throughout, even the cats are jumping over chairs and tables, they think all their birthdays came at once!!!

It's grey and cold in Germany. Last Tuesday, we had the first snow of this winter. It's gone by now but the weather forecast for the weekend calls for snow again... I have winter tires on my car... I have cold hands even in the office... Yes, this must be winter coming!

Read: it's grey and cold in Balingen Laughing

A really nice, sunny day it was here, temperatures up to 12°C at noon.
(Although, there's still some snow in the nearby mountains [more kind of itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny rest of snow  ], and hail, thunderstorms, rain and snow are forecasted for tomorrow.)

It's partly sunny with 23 C here in Columbus. Warm enough for short sleeves. Had heavy rain and a thunderstorm this morning. A cold front is on its way, and Sunday morning's low is supposed to drop to 4 C. Time to crank up the fireplace Smile

it was sunny and FOUR C in kingston today ! overnight we expect minus 4 C, but the forecast for sunday calls for more sunshine. so even if it is on the cool side, as long as the sun shines ... ((if it get's much colder there are always long john's - or stanfield's as we call them in canada). hbg
