I know, Misti. Strange, I feel rather emotionless, except when I write poetry or bleed over into philosophy.

I have never seen the ocean look as calm and lovely as it did this evening.

Now Letty, please listen to me! If this Frances gal goes the way they say she's going, you need to evacuate, because it will be mandatory for you too. They're not just saying these things to scare us, there's good reason for it. Remember Andrew?

Get your hubby in tow and make a plan. We do not want anything to happen to you, so get going girl!

Oooh, Thok, sorry to hear that. It is very nice and warm here. Thunderstorm clouds crowding all around - but the sun is still shining and I spent my lunchbreak outside reading. Lovely!

Since three days, we've bright sunshine, tempeartures up to 28°C ...

Today, forecast says more than 30°C (86°F).
And the fine weather is said to stay until at least mid-week Laughing

Mostly cloudy and high 70's F for NYC

Got our fingers crossed for those poor duffs in Florida. Frances looks like a circular saw blade cutting across a chair leg. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Phoenix32890 - I was out in it and it was only a little windy and just barely drizzling. Not that bad yet.

Although I would only describe the weather here yesterday as moderately bad, the power went off at 1:30 PM, and just came back on a few minutes ago at 8:45 AM. I have heard that 3 million Floridians are without power. I hope my power stays on, because it has been getting up to over 90 degrees here during the day.

Things are great here in North Texas- wettest summer ever and cooler temps. normally we'd have had nearly 20 days of 100F type heat and I think we've only made it once! Cooler, drier air now with highs in the 80'sF. Gorgeous!

The weather forecast for today was not correct. Which is good in this case because the weather is great, sunshine and about 25 °C. A bit windy from time to time, though... I wish it could just stay summer!

Ditto here (although there have been some heavy rainfalls close to my place this morning ... and on the autobahn, when I drove Mrs. Walter to her mom's birthday party).

Windy, sunny, and warm. Not warm like North Texas, though. Shirt-sleeve warm, about the high 60s Fahrenheit. Rain forecast for tomorrow.
