Urs53, you need to come to Cocoa Beach to thaw out! We asked you not to go back, but who listens to us:)

It's hot and humid here ... in the low 90's, but still afternoon thunderstorms and tons of rain this year.

But you watch! ... The meteorologists will still maintain we are in dire need of rain ... Sad They are sooooooooooooooo repetitive!

Misti dear, I know, I know - we should have just grabbed the cats and come back to Cocoa Beach!

By the way, my boss like it there! Who wouldn't...

We did have some sun yesterday and I was rollerblading. Of course, now it is cold and rainy again.

Nobody forces me to stay here - I know that. I'm working on it...

Oh no, here we go again, another gigantic hurricane on it's way ... Francis! It's headed straight for us in Central Florida. I have a dread feeling on this one, so I hope my feelings are wrong.

They project it will hit landfall Sat., 2:00 PM.

Misti, I have the same feeling about Frances. This has been one of those weeks of "everything goes wrong".

We must all keep in touch.

Phoenix, here! Well, this time I will buy a LOT of water. When the papers talk about hurricane preparedness, I used to think about what happened in NY over the years.................some downed trees, lights out for 1-2 days.

Good grief. Some of the people who got in the way of Charlie had no lights for 2 weeks!!!! The mind boggles!
Shocked

Letty, we are worried about you because DB is one of the predicted landfalls.

Man, I hate all this disruption and worry ... I mean some people don't even have the power back on since Charley passed through!

Please tell us you're not going to ride the storm out Letty:)
