Yes Joanne, to say nothing of all those huge pick'em up trucks and hummers in the metromess...

That reminds me of an ol' Commander Cody song-
Lost in the Ozone Again
One drink of wine, two drinks of gin and I'm lost in the ozone agin'

Hiya quinn1, <waving backatcha> Cool

Heard from my mom in PA yesterday and she was saying how great the weather was. But then they had snow, sleet and rain just the other day!

There's a chance of thunderboomers here tonight with possibility of high winds and damaging hail. I guess MrsC will be sleeping in the closet agaain.

We are having wonderful spring weather in Germany. Everything turned really green while we were in Florida. All the trees are in full bloom. I have to admit - it's really pretty here, too. But I still prefer Florida... :-)

Well, cherries have bloomed here: had to clean the lane today, and that took me nearly as long as in autumn Sad

The lavender on our balcony ("roof terrace") is fully blooming, swallows are back, rhododrendrons are colouring the parc lanes ... and the maypole is already standing since last weekend

The people in the Greek Orthodox church at the end of our road were putting up a floral arch at the church gate when I drove home...nice.

Here today though, chilly brrr.

Winter is sneaking towards us, here.

One month until the start of winter - but I actually had to wear a jacket on the tennis court last night.

It must have dropped to about 10 degrees C last night. (?45F?) Days are still magic though - this is the best time to travel in Oz, I reckon.

Mind you, winter here is nothing like the winters you northern hemisphere types face Wink

I guess no matter where you live, spring is magic!

It seems so funny to drive down the road, noticing all the beautiful blooms on the trees and the flowers bursting open, and you wonder where were they yesterday, they weren't there!

It seems even funnier Margo to hear you say "winter is approaching" ... ????? How odd????????????

Snowing huge fat flakes in southern Wisconsin this morning. Caught me and the pooches a little off guard at the park. Good stuff, though.

You're doin' it again, ehBeth. I think you're sending that stuff down to us here in Boston tomorrow. It's been a perfectly gorgeous weekend so far. I'm actually wearing shorts and a T-shirt today, unheard of in these parts this time of year.
