A FRONTAL SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE SLOWLY ACROSS SOUTHERN ONTARIO TONIGHT AND INTO SUNDAY. PERIODS OF RAIN HEAVY AT TIMES AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BEGIN THIS EVENING. THIS SYSTEM WILL MOVE OUT OF THE REGION BY SUNDAY EVENING. GENERALLY RAINFALL OF 15 TO 25 MILLIMETRES IS EXPECTED. HOWEVER..SOME AREAS WILL RECEIVE UP TO 40 MILLIMETRES IN THUNDERSTORMS.
FOR COTTAGE COUNTRY..RAIN MAY CHANGE TO LIGHT WET SNOW SUNDAY. THERE IS ALSO A CHANCE OF BRIEF FREEZING RAIN/ICE PELLETS DURING THE CHANGEOVER.
WITH THE PASSAGE OF THE COLD FRONT..TEMPERATURES WILL DROP
SIGNIFICANTLY ON SUNDAY AS COLDER AIRMASS SETTLES IN FROM THE
NORTHWEST.
