The weatherman predicts highs of 45-50? with showers for the foreseeable future here. Not that we need him to tell us that. He can just keep quiet until he has something different to tell us.

Like children, weathermen and weatherladies should be seen and not heard. They relish in bringing wet and cold bad news.

It will be -0%F tonight. I've never seen the cats and the dog curled up into such tight little balls! I'm tempted to let them all into bed with me tonight. Outside, it's so cold it hurts to breathe.

Even though I'd miss the FL Gathering, Diane, I'd be happy to house-sit for ya while you're in my neck of the woods.....

Everyone at work was laughing/cringing at me today for looking forward to Friday's forecast!

Low tonight of -22 F.

Rae, I'll let you take back your whining!

The poor dog does n-o-t want to go outside. We have to put his jacket and boots on, poor baby!

And to think I was in south Florida 10 days ago. That's a drop in temperature of 100 degrees F.

Did I doze off and miss something? Rae, if you're housesitting in CT during the Florida gather, I really wish you had said something before I invested in nonrefundable tickets.
