Good luck with the wind!
Reminds me of a friend who received her Indian name after a summer with the tribe... they call her "Passing Wind."
Yep, we were, Piffka. But things change around here mighty fast. Practically got a dust storm today ... tumbleweed rollin' down the street and armadillos sunbathing in my back 40. All depends on the wind direction. It's Texas bloomers for the next coupla days, before switching over to Sascatchywand longjohns on Wednesday.
That WOULD be confusing! No wonder my grampa uprooted everybody and left. He couldn't stand the suspense.
Still lovely here in Connecticut, with some snow left and crisp, clear, sunny skies. Love it!

Msolga, so glad to hear you got some rain, those darn rain dances work every time ... I wonder if you're supposed to have a partner while rain-dancing? Maybe it would rain for longer periods? I must try that:)
Yeah, you must try that, Ma.
Misti
Do give it a go! It's raining only on & off (margo, please note!)
So grab your partner & dance madly for a major downpour!
Here's somebody nice to dance with...
Today is a beautiful day, 73F high, sunny, Partly cloudy early then clouds will dominate overnight. Low 57F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph.
Okay. Immediately packing bag and heading in general direction of Misti.
Tejas is tornadoing today, warm but dark and kinda scary. Lots of rain and boomers too.
It has been in the 50's here today, an' now we got thunderboomers--large crack of thunder about 30 minutes ago, and, as i was not expecting this, i just about filled . . . well, you know . . .
JD: Be careful, stay indoors and turn your 'puter off!
We hardly ever get thunder. Just wind and rain. However, I do NOT care much for THUNDER and LIGHTENING. It is a little TOO exciting for me.
So, okay, here I come... catch me, I think I'm falling south (and east!).
Florida has some dandy thunder and lightning storms ... spectacular to say the least, and dangerous!
We'll be waiting for you gal, start loading up that car!
Wouldn't it be nice??? I once spent a wonderful amount of time in Florida, from the beginning of January until mid-March in the keys. Whew. Lovely. Gorgeous by St. Augustine, too.
Piffka, Did you visit the "oldest school house in the US?" c.i.
