I love it when it is warm in the mornings... it will be a while before I feel that again, less we take a tour down to AZ or NM this winter.

Raining in Boston right now. More like April than September.

Ul, where's the operetta state, if you don't mind my asking.

Wherever it is, I hope you're having a nice hot toddy and your bunny slippers:)

Piffka, I'm winging you another sunny, warm morning, get ready!

I heard on the news the other night your area is unseasonably warm. Are they telling the truth?

Merry Andrew, glad to hear you're having an early spring, even if it's not very festive or conducive to a white Christmas:)

We are unseasonably warm for here, but that is still not very warm. Western Washington weather is moderated by the ocean and the westerlies. It rarely gets below 40F, even in the winter. It rarely gets over 70F, even in the summer. We will have hot days and have reached 99-100F, but that is infrequent. We've also had snow and temperatures in the 20's... but never for more than a few days.

Right now, at almost 10pm, it is 48F. That is about ten degrees warmer than might be expected for December!

Hi, Piffka...

Isn't this lovely weather? Our living room TV died a couple of days ago, and tomorrow we're going to have to brave the storm to go buy another one...(right now we're using a little 12 inch TV that only has a hook-up for one cable so no VCR and no DVD.) Anyway, tomorrow they are predicting that we'll have more torrential rains and very gusty winds. Not good weather to go buy electronics in, but then I'm getting desperate and the kids are locking their sets down so I don't go and "borrow" them.

Well, I'm not hearing any wind, but there's rain, lots o' rain. The cat was banging on the door to get in this morning, hitting the glass door with his paws!

So, a 12 inch TV with no hook-ups? Bummer! Good luck. Lots of bargains out there...

Piffka, your temps sound like Irish temps to me, except for the 90-100F, it rarely goes beyond 70F in Ireland, even in the summer.

It's 64F here today, gusts to 23 mph, sunny! It's the wind that makes it feel soooooooooooo cold!

It's rather nice around this time of year when the weather is colder, it's more festive.

Misti26- Here it is 61, windy, and rather cloudy. Very early this morning, I decided to go shopping for some presents. While I was there, I figured that there is a lot on sale, so maybe I could take a look for myself.

No way. I am spoiled rotten. I absolutely refuse to start pulling down long pants, and taking off sneakers, in order to try on something. When I am back in shorts and sandals, I will make the foray out again! Laughing

Phoenix -- Haha. That's what we have to do nearly all the time! Plan ahead and wear a long wrap-around skirt!

It is not raining just now (Matrix? You are getting periods of no rain, right?). There's a lot of clouds, but I'd say the time was right for a fast walk.

Hi ul ~ bunny slippers are slippers (house shoes) that have a face and bunny ears on the front part of the 'shoe'.

It's getting cooler by the minute here. Mom (Misti) is in warm clothing and I (as always) have windows open, fan on and am walking around in shorts..... Rolling Eyes

It's raining cats and dogs in our area. We had blackouts in our area, and we had no power from 12:50 PM till about 8:45 PM. They're predicting more rain for tonight through Monday. c.i.

Rae- It didn't rain at all over here today, but it was cloudy, damp and windy. It is now a "balmy" 52 degrees. I think that I am going to put my sweatshirt over my jammies!
