Is that gloating?! It is, isn't it? Lucky guy.

It's sunny enough for the moment...but cold here, and rain expected for the next week. Blech.

We had some welcome thunderstorms this evening, but not nearly as much rain as we would like.

Now that the summer is upon us, hopefully we'll revert to our afternoon thunderstorms and some much needed rain.

Partly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms. Highs around 90. South winds around 5 mph becoming east in the afternoon. Chance of rain 20 percent.

THROUGH MIDNIGHT...LINGERING SHOWERS AND STORMS NEAR THE BREVARD COUNTY COAST WILL MOVE WELL OFFSHORE...AS WILL AREAS OF LIGHT RAIN NEAR THE TREASURE COAST. A FEW LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS WILL CROSS THE KISSIMMEE RIVER...THEN MOVE ACROSS OKEECHOBEE...SAINT LUCIE AND MARTIN COUNTIES.

Misti 1 and 2: Sweet. We, too, had much needed rain here in Central Virginia. Only about a 10 minute thunderstorm of pretty hard rain, but if we could get one of those every couple of days that would elimiminate the need to water the bushes in the yard. A few days of steady rain would fill up the reservoirs.

RJB:

Maybe we're not getting out and doing our rain dance often enough? Yah think?

I'm hoping now the beginning of June will bring our usual afternoon thunderstorms ... also dancing for you in Virginia:)

92F today, truly pool weather ... it's finally warm enough (the water) for me to go in, it's more like a sauna!

We had a few drops of rain, that was it, just a teaser:)

Have you ever noticed the funny green color the sky turns just before all hell breaks loose?

Methinks I should shut down the computer.
