WEATHER OR NOT?

Today is supposed to be a real spring day... It is 10:30 am now and still cloudy and cool. Nothing looks like spring here. No fresh green leaves, no blooming trees, no little spring flowers... Oh well, I still hope for some sunshine over the long weekend...

Well, here at my place, today really has been the first spring day - but clouds are announced for the afternoon (and rain over the Easter days).

We had our spring yesterday....today, winter has crept back a bit. At least it's not too cold.

It turned from cloudy to rainy... So much for spring...

It's the same here as well: rainy happy Easter.

So I guess it's rainy all over Europe? That does not make me feel better... Oh well... I watched CD 2 of the second season of Gilmore Girls today. Who needs weather?! ;-)

Yes, sorry to disappoint you Urs, but same here...after a damp start we had a brilliant sunny day here today.

Not fair! No brilliant sunshine in the South of Germany...

We are going to the Schloss Haigerloch tonight for dinner and that is such a nice place in spring normally. Lots of lilac all over and the whole town smells so great. But I am afraid no lilac yet... But good food anyway! :-)

From this mornings traffic news/warnings in the radio:

"Icy slippery road surface in Paderborn on the autobahn. ... Heavy snowfall and slippery roads in Paderborn county and the Sauerland."

That's less than 20 miles away!

We've got 7°C now (10:00 am) ... and the weather report forecasts 20°C on Tuesday, even 25°C on Wednesday ... after this winterly interruption over the holiday weekend.

beautiful weather the last several days , daytime temp about 20 C / 70 F , sunshine , no clouds in the sky , got quite a bit of garden work done .

WHAT THE HECK?!?! Is this Ever going to end? It's the "Medard's drop" (Slovakism...there is a saying:" If it rains on Medard (when name Medard is written in the calendar), it will rain for 40 days...whaaatever.)

All I'm trying to say is that THIS SUCKS!! Look at it!

It's a gorgeous night out, clear, dry and slight breeze. I could take this all year 'round:)

It really felt like summer today; probably close to 80 degrees F.

Raining in New Hampshire. Been raining for days. Supposed to rain for at least another week. I actually don't mind. It makes things grow, like my lawn, which I can't mow, because of the rain.

Sunny in Gothemburg/Sweden. But cool - highs are around 15 degrees Celsius and it is very windy.

Looks like another high 70s today. Taking my wife to Parcel 104 at the Marriot for a 2:30PM reservation.
