Just returned from Las Vegas where the weather was absolutely gorgeous! It was in the high 60's and 70's during the day, and in the high 40's to 50's in the evening!

Here in Florida it is still nice and not very humid, but in the 70's!

Thermometer says 10C, in the shade, but the sun is shining! Blue skies! It's *clean and fresh*, not get in your bones cold.

JoeBlow posted the details.
Perfect day as far as I'm concerned.

Temp's about 15 Celsius this afternoon.
Sunny, a slight breeze.

It really can't get any better than this for me.

<well, if it was autumn instead of spring it'd be perfect, but the conditions ARE divine>

Urs, I think you SHOULD come to Florida ... what do you hear from the IMNS?

They are so slooooooooooooooow, typical government!

Yes, but I'm also slow, Misti. I am a bit scared of the big decision I think... Shocked

I went out for dinner with a couple of friends last night and we decided that we will all end up in Florida one day.

eastern lake ontario : have had some beautiful weather these last few days. daytime highs of 12 to 17 C and plenty of sunshine - perfect for walks along lake ontario. went 'stateside' yesterday; crossed into new york state at the '1,000 island bridge' on our way to watertown, ny and were surprised to see that there was still ice at the confluence of the st. lawrence river and lake ontario . plenty of springloweres in the garden now - the rabbits are having a great time nibbling the tops. hbg

Misti, I miss our spring visit to Florida! It was nice to spend a week in Sweden with the family - but Gothenburg in March - COLD!!!

Fortunately, spring is here now in Balingen with trees blooming and the grass getting greener every day. We even had some nice sunny days where one could sit outside for a cup of coffee.

Urs, glad to hear you're experiencing some "Spring" ... it's so nice to see new buds on trees and flowers starting to bloom.

We also missed your trip to Florida this year, but time goes by fast so we'll look forward to next year?

eastern lake ontario : just came back from our walk along lake ontario. the water is as blue as the "blue danube", plenty of gulls and other birds around, canada geese flying in formation going north, a wonderful morning. the springbulbs are popping up in the garden and it is nice to see some colour again - but i'm sure we'll get a coldspell (snow perhaps ?) before we are really into spring. the old farmers' wisdom has it that one should not start planting before VICTORIA DAY week-end(2nd half of may); but we usually disregard that and start planting in early may and keep some cover on the tender plants. hbg

We're hovering between winter and summer here ... the weather is beautiful and very hot in the daytime, however we seem to change our minds in the evening and revert to nice, cool and balmy temps.

IT's been in the high 70's all week, no rain and very little humidity.

Beautiful sunshine and rather warm here since mid of the week - hopefully it will be the same next weekend in England and in two weeks time here with the two meetings! [I'll send you, Urs, a route plan before you start!]

We had a wonderful spring day yesterday - although it started out with freezing temperatures. I did have ice on my car!

Thanks, Walter! Can't wait! :-)
