What if you can't eat yogurt? I am about to start a bout of antibiotics and would really like to avoid all the ick from it.

but that doesn't have the probiotic culture as the real white yoghurt, no? or do they add that?
not all white yoghurts have it either. one has to look at the labels to see if it's there or not.

yeah, silk / soy yogurt doesnt have all of the cultures that regular yogurt has.
there are some brands that DO have it, i belive their labels read - live active added cultures.. or something like that.
i believe , they will also say they have something like 6 diffrent cultures in it..

let me go look at my own yogurts.
i have both in the fridge.
be right back..

ok
i have organic yogurt ( cow milk ) -
it says - Containes 6 live active cultures including L.Acidophilus, Bifidus, L Casei and L reuteri

the Silk ( soy milk ) says-
yogurt cultures added
L. bulgaricus, S. Thermophilus, L. Acidophiuls, B. bifidum , L. casei, L rhamnosus

so, they BOTH have diffrent ones and silk definatly has less then regular yogurt..
what the benefits are of each, i am not sure..
