Yep. It is pretty hard holding it straight out and not using it all day. Rather tiring.

There was recently an interesting article in the New Yorker about how leeches have made a great resurgence as a treatment technique.

Hey Tico, as a healer, Im aquick learner. Ignorance just fires me up. Whatdya want to know about chiggers now?

This is about jp and his battle with power tools.

Leeches have their place in a health plan that involves a good balanced diet, plenty or rest and exercise, and an occasional leech.

Yeah... no more booger pickin'

But I am walking around with what looks like a giant tampon around my finger. It's kind of an even trade in the public humiliation contest.

Last summer my Mom was washing out a glass and it broke as she was sticking her hand inside to scrub the bottom. Cut the begeezus out of her finger near her thumb - Huge v shaped chunk towards the base knuckle. Bled like the dickens, but of course she wasn't gonna go for stitches bein' a farm raised girl and all.

She decided superglue would work about as well as any doctor, since they now use superglue in OR's according to a story she read.

Worked! Nice scar, but it worked.

I use super glue all the time. Its non-toxic and most of the time when the cut heals it pushes the glue right out. Works real good.

I use superglue for wound repair myself quite a bit - and its included (naturally, sterile, surgical grade certified) in professional emergency response kits. Duct tape butterfly bandages work pretty well on your run-of-the-mill, relatively-not-too-badly-gaping wounds too. Silicon adhesive can be used, too, but be advised - that stuff is hell on body hair at removal time Mr. Green
