Hate both... how about a fast uphill walk (to a pub)? Actually I only like aquaerobics and they don't seem to have them in the local pool here.

There is an impressive spa pool here in Moedling, but they don't have the same sort of aquaerobics that I get back home. Crying or Very sad I have been taking exercise walking around the city lots.

You have scale that displays tenths of a pound?

Wow, you're practically there. My less granular digital scale flashed back
and forth between 172 and 171 for a while, then settled on 172.

Sooooooooooooooo close!

Mine displays to the nearest 0.5 lbs. It might flicker one way or the other before settling on one number. Your flicker of this morning would indicate about 171.7 (thereabouts).

You're almost there, George!!!!

BTW am going to Bratislava tomorrow, you aren't there are you?

No, but I envy you tremendously. Do have a nice glass of Blaufrankisch for me in Verne cafe (near the National Theatre, sorta opposite the Carlton hotel). I took nimh there, too.

Yeah, go to Verne. That was our favourite place back when my ex lived there, we'd always go there. Its really, really nice.

We also liked Café Kút, right off from behind the city gate; U Anjelov, on Laurinská, was kinda pretty; and there was a loungy place further north, but I cant find it back.

(Those, and U Jozefu, but that was probably just us - this little cafe closer to the train station which we loved because it was so totally forgotten-by-time and looked like it was exactly the same as it had been twenty or thirty years ago, with only an odd visitor coming by.)

Blaufrankisch in Slovak: Modra Frankovka. Another great place to go is Prašná Bašta (down the street to the right of the Michal's Gate). If it's sunny and warm, you can sit in a nice little courtyard they have.

Oh, great minds think alike - Cafe Kut is adjoining to Prašná Bašta I think, same courtyard.

I guess dropping in on this thread like this has definitely given away that I sometimes do a search on my own name, huh?

Confused I'm guessing you havent seen a picture of me huh, Clary?

See, I have the opposite problem. I am thin, thin, thin. That is generally not exactly considered attractive in a man. Real man should have some body, some muscle, something to sink into.

I dont even mind how I look so much myself, but yeah, I'm aware that it straight pops me out of any "doable" list for a lot of people, and that - knowing that people think I'm - not ugly, but just - not sexy, period - yeah, that gets to me.

And now I'm going to have this thread title pop up in my Your Posts page every day to remember me about it. Ah well, my own fault. Hope you'll like the cafe..

My son Clive has a similar problem, in his case a condition called hypotonia.

My Visiting Firemen are back home, out of earshot. I actually lost a pound.

This morning the nursery delivered twelve yards of mulch. Twelve yards of mulch makes a terrific visual nag for weight bearing exercise.

I gained back the 3.2 pounds that I'd lost last week.

But, it's a new day and a new week. Extra water, extra exercise, extra sleep and sticking to my points should get me back on track...

Someday I'll get brave and post my actual weight here! Maybe for the next milestone.

Mac--

How disheartening. Your positive attitude is the only sensible reaction, but you must feel highly exasperated.

Hold your dominion.
