What does Plump do, in one of his campaign "coronavirus updates" he dumps all over the guy (also a Republican) for "not getting any information". As Gov Hogan said, "On sunday the president says we are on our own("use your own resources), now today hes criticizing me for using my own resources overseas contacts .

USUALLY, in a national crisis, the President takes command and control. Not with this guy, he wants no criticism so he does nothing at all.

The US is not a dictatorship/monarchy and the president is not a dictator/king.

People like you use their position as critic to goad others into 'taking command and control' instead of proposing ideas yourself.

Everyone is an individual with individual ideas, whether you're the president or some other citizen.

If an idea is worth pursuing, people can voluntarily cooperate to achieve it. There is no need for "command and control."

For Democrats there is. They are the fascists. This has been amply demonstrated in Michigan, California, and NY.

@coldjoint,
You truly are an ignorant person. If California was to be a country, we'd be the 5th richest in the world. Like the rest of the country, CA is a democracy with a capitalist economy. Apple is located not far from where we live, and they're the richest company in the world. QUOTE: Apple has reclaimed the title of most valuable public company in the world.

Listening to you post as if you understood what a "national emergency" actually is , would be like listening to my budgie discuss "Billy Budd"

PS, remember, Im not the president, Im just a country fool, .. He is THE FOOL playing president.

@coldjoint,
Apparently the devious , contradictoryBullshit that comes out of Trumps mouth just two days apart is of no matter to you eh? You must really be hard up for someone to lead you by the nose like a slaughter pig. Looks like youve got him. He will sell you out and toss your corpse under his goddam bus to perdition as long as he can wash his hands of any responsibility. Trumptious Pilate..

Im sure, now that we see what a fake he is, history will not be kind to him. He will be remembered less as a president and more as a fat ,scum suckin, bufoon

One more time, I consider the source, and you have been repeating the same nonsense since Trump was elected. I do not know if that makes you ignorant but it most certainly does not make you a reliable source on others knowledge.

Don't you get it? Anti-Trumpism prevents Trump from leading because whatever he does will be met with some form of resistance.

For all we know, the deep state knows this is how the public works and so they get Trump to say things so the people will resist doing whatever Trump says.

E.g. They may have known that the best way to get people to stop whining about re-opening the economy is to get Trump to advocate it.

If Trump was telling them to social-distance and avoid spreading the disease, they would be resisting and complaining that Trump is too stupid to understand how viruses work.

There are some people who think for themselves, but many if not most seem to just try to bluff independent thinking by reacting against authority and telling themselves they are independent for doing so. They don't think about being manipulated into reacting a certain way by using an unpopular president as a spring-board for stimulating opposition.

@livinglava,
Um so you're saying the Deep State FORCES Trump to say stupid ****?

Is that really your premise?

Ok, if or even when Trump stops saying stupid ****, then can the Deep State claim that as well?

It doesn't matter what I believe. The fact is that IF Trump was nothing more than an actor hired to say things that would trigger anti-Trump resistance, it would be an effective form of governance because of how many people march in lockstep against anything and everything Trump says.

People march away from Trump because he says and does stupid ****. If you'd like to say you don't want to believe it's an act, then the realty is... he says and does stupid ****. No, that is NOT "effective form of governance."

You don't understand what I'm saying, which is that anti-Trumpism makes Trump an effective anti-leader. It's like opposite day with him and his anti-Trumpist followers. If he says "liberate," they'll say, "not yet." If he said, "stay home longer to be safe," they'd say, "he's an idiot who's destroying the economy by not re-opening it."

So if you really want the anti-Trumpists to obey government commands, you have Trump say the opposite and the anti-Trump reaction will be lockstep resistance against whatever Trump said.

@livinglava,
I fully understand what you're saying.

You refuse to take a critical look at Trump's leadership and policies. You make excuses for Trump and blame Democrats for his failures. And you continue to look the other way.

If you hadn't noticed, the only ones defying stay-at-home orders are Trumpers. So, where's your logic now?

You want to talk about incompetence, look to the Obama intelligence and law enforcement agencies. The way they handled things was a disaster and treasonous folly that is going to come out. The incompetence is not on Trump. It is on the people out to get him for four years.

“The incompetence is not on Trump.”

Unbelievable.

They don’t think Trump bears responsibility for ANYTHING.

EVERYTHING that is wrong in his administration is not on him.

Nothing that has failed, fumbled or fucked up during his time in office can be attributed personally to him.

It’s ALWAYS the Democrats. It’s ALWAYS Obama. It’s ALWAYS the media.

Do you think they really believe this drooling dullard is infallible, or is it just the pose they have to take, or everything falls apart?

Truly unbelievable.

And right there, is the issue. Anything that would be pointed out as illogical, infeasible, immoral or illegal is met with excuses and indifference. You didn't tolerate any of this with any other candidate or President.

Why won't you take a critical eye to Trump?

@coldjoint,
Ok you want a list. It's late so a partial one will have to do.

Building a wall on the Southern border is useless and not cost effective.
Partial travel bans are useless and not cost effective.
Unemployment figures are useless and are not cost effective.
Economy based on the stock market is useless and not cost effective.
Energy prop ups are useless and not cost effective.
Trade tariffs are useless and not cost effective.
Bypassing Congress is useless and not cost effective.
