That reminds me of a true story ... one that's informational as well as inspirational. A few years ago a buddy of mine lost an eye when a tie-down cord like one of these came loose as he was pulling it tight. Yes, it whipped around and caught him in the eye. I wasn't there at the time, but I am told the first thing he said was, "
It's all fun and games til' someone loses an eye." And now, when he introduces himself to people, he states his name is, "
Vickers ... that's with one 'I'." His good humor and positive attitude is contageous.
So, be careful with these cords, 'cause they can put an eye out.
And if bad stuff happens, try and keep a positive outlook. You may not be able to change your circumstances, but you can always change your attitude.
