I also think that Trump is going off the rails. Politically this is a very good thing for Democratic chances.
It's very obvious that Democrats attempt to motivate voter support by rationalizing the idea that they have a good chance of winning.
That is why it is funny when Trump accuses people of being 'losers,' i.e. because that is the logic the Democratic party uses to motivate people to vote - that they are not voting for a 'loser' but rather someone who can realistically win.
Here's an idea: vote for the candidate you agree with and/or whom you want to perform the roll of president. Then, if they don't win it's the same as if you didn't vote at all. Either way you have to deal with the government that's elected by voicing your thoughts and opinions publicly.
That's why civil discourse is central to democracy, more so than electing representatives/delegates.
