How do you paint on a boat? Don't they bob up and down....?

Paintings done under these conditions command the highest prices. Mr Saatchi will buy it.

@McTag,
To me, A boat is a means of conveyance, not a studio. I don't do
painting in moving cars either.

@farmerman,
Need to buy some line this AM. You buy line at an ag store you get it for half the price as youd pay at a yat basin. t a tractor supply they call it "Rope".
Yes I understand the economics.

@spendius,
I love clams, they are delicious when served in a white sauce over linguini.
I also like steamers with sweet butter.
How about you?

No idea. I've never tried those things.

Assuming you're not being witty I mean and having a play on words.

@farmerman,
The whales were all over the place. We saw at least 3 humpbacks with calves at their sides. Cute baby humpback whales.

One of em was splashing and paddling around its mama like a kid full of sugar.

Plenty of Minkes and several big finbacks which showed us nothing but their slithering backs followed by a tail. Finbacks are all business. Humpbacks like to **** around in the bay.
We have to watch because a humpack baby will swim toward a boat and then that pisses off the mother and she will nail you with a big sploosh of water by slapping her huge tail.

Gonna head back home and come back in two weeks for a longer run down to Monhegan and into Souwest Habba to lay the boat uo for winterizing. Hope the fogs clear up. Manytimes we were in fog for half the day
ILL FIND OUT WHAT THEY REALLY WANT FOR IT.

@farmerman,
It's rope on a boat too, as long as it's in the rope locker.

@roger,
well, we will be off again to try to circumnavigate the Bay of Fundy (unless I forget all my "Papers" and our passaports.
Im hoping we can see some nice big finback whales and a humpy or two. Minke whales abound as do basking sharks and whale sharks. We will be off in the afternoon and will check in probably from Eastport or any place with WiFi.
Yaarrrrghhh.

@farmerman,
Why don't you go to look at some of the creatures in a local pond fm.

They are just as interesting from a scientific point of view and a damn sight cheaper. Or earthworms which fascinated a mature Darwin.

Is that the problem? That you can't display your ability to absorb pecuniary damage with pond life and earthworms as good as you can with whales and sharks? Which is a bit unimaginative imo.

@rosborne979,
well, we shove of as soon as this damn rain lets up.

Last time we flew up to Bangor, those plane tickets for that trip have gotten really pricey nd anyway, this time we have a load of wool to take to the mill in Harveys STation NEw Brunswick. (WE gotta do all that before we shove off on the boat)
