Lightwizard,

And just why do you think I need some therapy? Perhaps because I do not agree with you?

And if I said to you, I think you need to learn how to spell? Or at least use your spellcheck?

This effects me how?

That's the kind of stupid remark that characterizes your post. That was a typo, I'm at the gallery working and you, my dear and go to there this topic suggests.

Frank,

I do understand your position more clearly now. I understand why you call it a guess, estimate, etc. In that reference, I can accept that.

Thank you for clearing up the law point.

And if you put pit in front of that bulldog? I agree completely! Laughing

Now, now Lightwizard,

Not nice. I was merely pointing out that you are pointing fingers and making judgements.

Chiding for misspelling or typos is the cheap shot of a desperate person. I am making judgements on your silly statements. Either take the heat in the kitchen or get out of the kitchen.

Mesquite...LightWizard...I thank you for the help you are giving.

This is now farce being played out. I am actually enjoying it...it is so broad. I hope you good folks are also.

But once again...thanks for being here.

Hey, no problem. Momma is too foolish to admit she's gone off the deep end.

Glug.

Glug.

Lightwizard,

My cheap shot was no lower than yours. If YOU can't take it as well as dish it out, I suggest you don't.

Oh, now she's getting angry. Mine was not a "cheap shot," but it may have been below the belt. Actually, what you need is a couple of good belts. Have three drinks, go to bed and call me in the morning. On second thought

NOT.

Lightwizard,

Angry? No. Telling me I may need therapy was a cheap shot and below the belt.

I just don't think it is okay to make fun of someone's religious beliefs. You are like some of the others, God forbid we Christians should talk about God because we are shoving Him down the throats of those that don't believe. But, when called on an inappropriate behavior, there seems to be no problem in those others doing it.

No, I do believe you do need therepy. You're writing like someone in rapture. I worry about the sanity of people like you. Are you also sitting in a barrel of live rattlesnakes as you write this nonsense?

I suppose you don't realize that on the internet, all caps is shouting and in bold is screaming. So you can, again, go where this thread suggests. Bye now.

Lightwizard,

I apologize for putting that in capital letters and bolding it. I did not know that it mean I was screaming. I used it merely for emphasis.

And I have no intention of going where you say this thread suggests. God has given me His saving grace so I don't believe I will be taking that trip.

One thing I learned from Momma's research is that Frank is consistent.

Momma Angel: Welcome to A2K. You have nothing to apologize for. Any reasonable person would understand you only capitalized and bolded that one word for emphasis.

And Frank is, well ... frank. He's also from New Jersey, so you must bear that in mind when you converse with him. He's not given to being overly nice ... just not his character. I'm relatively sure he sees it not as a character flaw, but as one of his strengths.

When you've had enough of Frank, come join us in the Politics forum. Frank has been keeping his distance of late.

Tico,

Thanx for the welcome! And Frank, well, Frank is Frank.

I was just looking into that political forum. Boy, would I be way way out of my league there.

I am embarrassed to admit that I do not know more about today's politics than I do. However, I will be reading those posts. I guess that's one way for me to learn!

Thanx again!

P.S. Oh yeah, I used to live in PA. I remember how NJ residents (on the whole) were! Laughing

P.S.S. Would love to have you in our Are You Part of the Problem or Part of the Solution thread. We are writing the constitution and your political expertise would be so welcomed! Here's the link. http://www.able2know.com/forums/about56232.html

In reply to the original question, if Jesus died to save all then why is there a hell for the unsaved people?

the answer is human will. That foundational truth that not even God himself will 'make' you believe or do anything. He doesnt want to make you do anything, he simply shows the way and lets everyone make their own choice. It makes sense. I want people to like me for the person they know i am, not because i made them like me.

Jesus was the solution to the cursed hell bound human race. people have the choice to stay on their own path, or follow him. its reeeeeally a simple set of options. and the best part is that anyone can believe whatever they want, no one can make them believe anything. what you believe you answer to God about. So really no one has any business to dispute or tear down someone for believing in Jesus or not. you can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink it. if he dies of dehydration thats his problem... you did your job by showing him the water.

Very well put, amosunknown. Jesus did die for us that our sins can be forgiven. However, it is not a free ride. We must follow Jesus' teachings and example to earn the right to be at his side. It is not like a game of monopoly where you pass go and automatically collect two hundred dollars.

Well, since we are going back on topic:
The soul does not survive death.
There is no such thing as everlasting punishment in hell.
No baking, broiling, frying, or boiling.

Of course, that does not leave out the possibility of a resurrection.
