No. One nation, some of us think they're under god and they can think that if they want to, but they can't make the rest of us agree with them and it's got nothing to do with the government,.....

Like I said the LAST time someone cut and pasted this into A2k. I'm from Missouri, our preamble refers toa supreme ruler of the universe. This could be an alien warlord, for all we know. All hail Gothar!
Next, The only state that specifically makes a christian reference is the state of Virginia. I believe in states rights so if this is what you wish for, move to Virginia.
Last, the phrase "One nation, under god" used to be just "one nation." It was hanged in the early part of the cold war as a way to make americans fell different than Russians. It's simply propaganda.
Do you know the Preamble for your state?
The folks who wrote those preambles are probably long dead by now. People have changed and values have changed. Laws are harder to change. In some towns it is still illegal to leave your horse untied.
There are probably some who still might like to see those words and would even like to believe those words, but the states, the fed and the people have more trust in Gold than in God.
"In God We Trust" is on currency because thats what people today worship, isn't it?
