That is simplistic. No one likes "dirty people" — ever hear the expression "white trash"? It's completely separate from a studied view of what causes poverty and what we can do to alleviate it. The bottom line is that there are poor, ignorant people in all ethnic and racial groups and some of them are driven by desperation into crime.

I’m taking this thread of this ‘conversation’ to class to show how smoothly shifty people spout bullshit to avoid responding honestly.

It’s avoidant word salad.

Biden talked about black criminals that needed to be locked away from his family. Not white trash, not Asian garbage.

Joe championed using ‘crimes’ that incarcerated black people almost exclusively, while overlooking worse drug crimes that would have included white perpetrators in the ‘war on drugs’. The truth is—Biden, Clinton, and their lackeys threw black people to the wolves to make the Dem party palatable to racists in the R party so they could compete for the brainless and the racist. They lost a couple of elections and decided to cater to racists. And, this site of fake liberals is searing evidence that it worked.

White racist politicians like Biden and Bloomberg zeroed in how to decimate the black community specifically, stop and frisk in black communities specifically. Focused on use of ‘black’ drugs specifically. They were the kings of the racist Dem hey day—that is still alive and kicking, thanks to you and your buddies.

Well if you do, I hope you start with your post which started the conversation we had this morning.

Bob, tell em what they’ve won!

Why, another four years of Donald Trump, Stan!!

Bernie Sanders is far superior to Biden in every way, and you and the idiots that backed the old racist —and the DNC who once again cheated the most honest, foward-thinking person in the political realm are disgusting.

Thanks for Trump —both times.

Your stupidity has destroyed what we had left of a country. We don’t have another four years of inaction on income inequality, medical care insecurity, or climate change.

You’re stupid and blind to the end.

or broadcaster

in my hometown, the sportscaster (Max Jackson) ended every broadcast with "if you can't play a sport, be one". I think it's a good approach to life overall.

I was thinking of coaching in youth sports. There's one sort of coach that teaches children to accept a loss with grace and friendliness towards the other team. There's another sort who behave differently and teach all the wrong responses.

Like 9 out of 10 people who voted for Hillary, eh?

It's obvious which sort of "coach" you would be.

The longer Sanders stays in and the more vile his worst fans become, the more damage is being done to his "movement" and it's chances of influence and success. As the primaries and the growth of Dem voter enthusiasm shows, voters/citizens may have affinities for his direction and values but they do not believe his movement by itself is capable of bringing anything like that about.

If wisdom prevailed rather than whatever this thing we're witnessing is, the only viable path for Sanders and supporters is working within the existing structures of Dem party (he inherently knows this and it's why he is running as a Dem and not Independent).

This really ought to be obvious. That some, like Lash, continue to sling the slime anyway suggests either a preference for a victim identity (quite like the Trump base) which is intellectually lazy, shallow and easy or their manipulation by those who work to foment disarray and anger on the left. Or, most likely, both.

Let's hope Bernie gets this.

Amen to Snood and Bernie. Never forget that after the last general election, Lash described herself by saying Plump is her president and the Republicans are her party. She wasn't thinking ahead, to another Sanders run. Her support for Sanders in 2016 did not run to discussing or touting his agenda; rather, it was an opportunity to attack Clinton. The Clintons have long been her bêtes noires--she started an anti-Clinton thread here 16 or 17 years ago. The nickel finally dropped for her, and she climbed back on the "progressive" band wagon as a Bernie-or-buster. In my never humble opinion, she has been consistently dishonest, and dedicated to trashing the Democrats. I still recall a conversation I had with her when she was Sofia when she described herself as a life-long conservative. That leopard has never changed her spots.

If there was a wager on the matter, I'd be betting with you. Not 100% chance of a win but I wouldn't shy away from big bucks.

The best gift Bernie's movement could give him right now is to let him go. Tell him thanks for getting us this far, you tried. Rest up, get back to your regular job and do all you can there, we'll take it from here.

@Setanta,
You keep trotting out the same lies. You refuse to prove these accusations with evidence because everyone will see the context of one remark is a joke, and the other one never happened.

You’re simply unable to confront any of the facts about Joe Biden, so you ignore them and attack the person who posts them. All ad hom sprinkled with lies.

You think it’ll silence criticism of the preferred racist child sniffer, but alas. It won’t.

Cowardly behavior. All ad hom to hide your cringing lack of response to crazy Joe Biden.

And it is embarrassing that you feel the need to lie to try to coerce someone into not expressing their opinions with the same freedom that everyone else expresses theirs.

You’re a liar.

The first coronavirus case in the U.S. and South Korea was detected on the same day. By late January, Seoul had medical companies starting to work on a diagnostic test — one was approved a week later. Today, the U.S. isn’t even close to meeting test demand https://reut.rs/3daq8mF

When Trump claims he foresaw this would be a pandemic, remember that both the U.S. and South Korea had their first cases on the same day.

The U.S. squandered its lead time. South Korea didn't.

That's why South Korea has tested 290,000 people. The U.S. has tested only 75,000
