Help with Latin translation please?
Hi everyone. I've been searching for a translation for, "Love, Sensuality, Devotion" for a while (and must say that online translators have been more confusing than helpful).

I think that it would be amor, _____, devotio but haven't been able to find anything remotely similar to sensuality.

Would lust be the closest? Libidine, libidines? Please forgive me, my syntax is appalling. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

request
Hello!

I have a small request & it would mean a world to me if you could help me. So... can you translate "he killed me with his existence" (out of "amndo me occidit") or something like that. It's meant like: somebody living for somebody, but not being able to share that with him. Am i making any sense? Smile

Thanks in advance!

p.s.

don't ask =)[/B]

I wouldn't argue with "libido". [Excuse the double entendre.]
You could also use the phrase "voluptas corporis" which literally means
"pleasure of the body."

Hi there, we are very much newbies around here but were looking to get some phrases translated into Latin for use on our wedding rings.

I hope this is not too many for you:
---------------------------------------------------
666 ways I love you
I love you 'til my death do us part
I taste death in every kiss we share
Life and Death my Darling
Love's the funeral of hearts
Your love will be the death of me
---------------------------------------------------
Any help would be greatly appreciated

God gave me life
Deus mihi vitam dedit

God is in me
Deus in me est

God is with me
Deus mecum est

NOTE: Please have someone else review these before you commit to a
tattoo. I'm not a professional Latin scholar, just a guy who does this for
fun.

666 ways I love you
DCLXVI modi quibus te amo

I love you 'til my death do us part
Te amo dum mors mea nos separat
I taste death in every kiss we share
Mortem in omni osculo quem partimur gusto

Life and Death my Darling
Vita Morsque Cara Mea
Love's the funeral of hearts
Amor cordium funus est

Your love will be the death of me
Amor tuus mors mihi erit

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I know that it is none of my business, but I find the constant refrain of
death associated with love to be disturbing.
Hey, I was wondering if it was possible to get some help for a translation myself.
"Long [forever] shall [will] the (Ordo Sancti Benedicti) Guide [lead] us"
words like [this] are alternatives in case it makes it easier, and I already know what the ordo Sancti Benedicti is so... Very Happy
