My translation means:
If you hold it, you will suffer
If you own it, you will prosper

If you want a literal translation of the English, it would be:
Id tene et patere
Id posside et flore

I did notice the translation of
In god I trust

Could someone have a go at
In beer we trust

I did try an online dictionary but it declined to provide a latin translation for 'beer'
