Hi,

Wondering if anyone out there is able to translate the following song lyrics into latin?

Write these words across the sky,
Weep these eyes and dark heavens dry,
World cry tears that we cannot see,
For this love lost in front of me.

Thanks a mill, folks.

Geoff.

Here's my take on it:

Per caelum haec verba scribe,
Donec hi oculi et caela obscura sicci sunt lacrima,
Terra lacrimas quas videre non possumus fle,
Pro hoc amore perdito coram me.

Ego moriens, coram me umbra hominis stat.
Messor tuus sum.
Ad te in infernum ferre adsum.
Ergo in hac via ambula, infirme.

In the Latin Vulgate Bible, "oves" is used for "sheep" and "agnus" for lamb.

The Latin word for "duck" is "anas".

Can you help me to translate this poem?

No matter how many years go by. Only this will never change.
Always, always by your side. Here, closer than anyone else.
With these feelings, stronger than anything. I'll always protect you.
For you that I have been looking for…

Thank YOu

Hi hi hi...I just had two quick ones and a question:

"We all die alone"

"I exist"

And is "Memento mori" the correct translation for "Remember mortality"?

Thanks bunches...

Hi there.
I'm designing a costume for a prophetic mage character I'll be playing in a role play and I need these phrases to go round his cuffs and the base of his cloak.
"Open the door of fate"
"Tread the path of destiny"
"See the truth of every moment and the paths untaken"

Thanks uber much in advance!

Here's my crack at it:

Quotquot anni labuntur, hoc solum numquam mutabit.
Semper, semper a latero tuo. Hic, propior quam quisquam.
Cum his adfectibus, fortior quam quidquam, semper te protegam
Pro te quem quaerebam…

Exsisto [note spelling]

> And is "Memento mori" the correct translation for "Remember mortality"?

Memento mori is the Latin phrase used to express that.
"Memento mori" literally means "Remember to die."
This phrase was whispered into the ears of Roman genrals during
their triumphal processions to help them keep things in perspective.
