Thanks for yur translation earlier... i have been told by many people familiar with the Latin language, however, that your translation has the grammatical accuracy of a 1st grader. I just wanted you to know that.

Hi Lamar!
I learned the so-called 'ecclesiastical' pronunciation.
We were taught to pronounce 'nihil' as 'NEEkil'.
I'm not sure what the classical pronunciation is.

That sounds like spanish... do you read it and pronounce it like spanish?... in spanish we read and pronounce the word just the way we write it..

another question is, how can I learn Latin? I understand spanish comes from latin so it wouldn't be so difficult

I know of two ways to pronounce Latin:
1) "Ecclesiastical" -- the way Latin came to be pronounced in its use by
the Church. Pretty much like modern Italian. It's pronounced just the
way it's written.
2) "Classical" -- the way scholars believe the ancient Romans actually
pronounced it. I'm not well-versed in that.

The only way I know of to learn Latin is by taking classes in it.
Latin grammar can be rather complicated, you see.
However, if you know Spanish, then you have a big advantage in learning

Latin vocabulary.

My take on it would be:

Ulla technologia quae ab arte magica distingui potest haud satis progressa est.

(A purist would argue with "technologia" as a modern addition.)
