TRanslate this text into english??
Its a toughie....can't seem to get a translation that makes sense using a program.

"The wise man embraces the all encompassing.
he is unaware of himself, and so has brilliance.
not defending himself, he gains distinction.
not seeking fame, he receives recognition.
not making false claims, he does not falter.
and not being quarrelsome,
is in conflict with no one.

"Yield, and maintain integrity.
Be whole, and all things come to you".

Anyone?
thanks

Sapiens omniferum amplexatur
Insciens sui, atque fulgurat
non sese defendit, honorem meret
non laudem quaesit, notescitur
faciens nulla mendacia, non titubat
ac non seditiosus est,
cum nullo confligit

Yield, and maintain integrity.
Be whole, and all things come to you

concede, et retine sinceritatem
se integra, et omnes res tibi venerint

Can anyone translate: "All you have to do is change your mind" into latin for me? Would be greatly appreciated.

fyi: The whole motto is......

"Whatever you hold in your mind will tend to occur in your life. If you continue to believe as you have always believed, you will continue to act as you have always acted. If you continue to act as you have always acted, you will continue to get what you have always gotten. If you want different results in your life or your work, all you have to do is change your mind"

...just in case you were wondering xx

Could someone please translate this?
Hey guys, I'm new but I've been looking for a latin translation for a couple of weeks. Would be really useful if someone could post it up for me.

George, you seem to be the authority on Latin around these parts, thanks in advance if you translate for me:

"Live not exist" or "Choose life not existence" - as in make something of life as opposed to just letting it pass you by.

Thanks again

I need two sentences translated please.

Sextus, learning nothing in school, was often beaten on account of the bad temper of the teacher, Palaemon.

Since Sextus did not know where Hesperia was, Palaemon beat him with his stick.

Translation
Hey George, thanks so much for the translation, a small question though is exsistere definitely spelt that way? It's just that it looks a little odd with an s after the x.

Thanks again

The odd spelling is preferred, but the other way is considered an alternate
in the dictionaries I consulted (Cassell's Latin Dictionary and
Charlton T. Lewis, Charles Short, A Latin Dictionary).

Exsistere
Hey George, thanks again. I didn't mean to undermine your evident knowledge of Latin, just wanted to be sure it wasn't a slip of the fingers!

Thanks again, you're a credit to this forum.

Here's the opposite of what tends to be asked in this forum. Can I get some help with an English translation of this Latin?

Scaenam Quis Requirit

Thanks in advance.
