I used money as a big motivator this time. On day one, I gave my buddy fifty bucks (what I would usually spend on cigarettes each week). Each week I will give him another fifty. If I don't make it for a complete month, I lose all my money. That was a good motivator to get me started.

There's an ancient chinese treatment that uses slow-burning lumps on the body to 'increase energy' or something. Wouldn't it be a blast if they used it to cure smoking.... AND IT WORKED... but the smell of the burning kept the smokers craving.

Or pull them out, one by one, with a pair of old rusty tweezers, securing them in a curl in a fine gold locket... to be worn by one of the women you'll now attract...

Hey, thanks littlek! I think I can do it. I'm climbing the walls, but I think I can make it. Seriously. Right now I'm imagining the feeling of the smoke going into my lungs...you know you can actually feel it filling up your lungs, and it's definitely different than fresh air. It's better. It's beautiful...oh my god I want a cigarette right now...must stop thinking about smoking...must stop thinking about smoking...must stop...

Tomorrow at sometime around midnight, it will be a full f*cking week! YES!

FIFTY BUCKS A WEEK ON CIGARETTES????

Holy Sh*t, that's a lot of money.

Just imagine what you could do with an extra $50.00 a week. hmmmmm, what would I do with an extra $2500 a year? An extra vacation maybe, or a nicer car... what about you Kicky, got any plans for all that cash?

Kicky quit?
You can do it!!

Plan on buying something for yourself with the money you save. Set a goal. Like 2 months. Save the money you'd be buying cigs with and at the end of two months, if you still are smoke-free, take it and buy something fun with it!

Yeah Kicky!!!!http://community.the-underdogs.org/smiley/happy/thumb.gif

I'm going to choose my cheerleading carefully and just say, Great PLAN!!!

Seriously, sounds like as good of a motivator as I've heard of.

Aw, to heck with restraint.

K is for kinetic
I is for inspired
C is for just cute as heck and
K's for killer smile

Y? because he can!
