Joe, I had a dream last night where you were featured. See, and Kicky wasn't. You were my neighbor in this apartment complex and we were going to grab a pizza in the evening. I was apartment-sitting for a colleague, too and had to walk her dogs, so I missed you. When I got back from the dog walk, you were gone already. Very thrilling and complicated dream it was.

I am more than happy to strip down and show my body at the drop of a hat...but it ain't buff by a long shot.

Actually, I wore some very interesting briefs to NY for the meet. I figured if Kicky actually cashed some of those checks his mouth was writing during the week leading up to the meet...he'd probably need someone to inspire him on to bigger and better things.

But things never got past the talking stage...so my jock strap red bikini undershorts with the "GOLFERS EXCELL AT FORE PLAY" emblazoned on it stayed under cover, so to speak.

Maybe next time.

In anticipation of an unveiling, though, I did approach the maitre'de (Bruno) early in the night and asked about the size and temperment of the bouncer.

Bruno merely raised his eyebrows ever so slightly...and then turned and walked away without answering.

I figured this might bode poorly on this gig...and if Kicky gave even the slightest indication that he was going to put the peddle to the metal (or meat to the table, so to speak)...I would probably do my best to discourage him for a second or two.

He didn't; I didn't have to; I didn't have the balls to trump him...and we are all still allowed in Manhattan bars. A Win/Win situation.

Bethie, it will be April 28th. We think Frank, Joe Nation, hopefully Kicky, Bernie and Lola will be there and we are really pulling for littek to come down. If you come too, it will be a PARTY! If setanta comes we will need a good Irish pub and, possibly, protection from the local Irish gangs, but it will be a party to last a lifetime.

We leave the next day for Europe, but the flight doesn't leave until late, between 6:00 and 8:00PM, so we should have a little more visiting time on the 29th.
