It's right near Irving Place, which is between 3rd Avenue and Park Avenue I think. It's a couple blocks down from Gramercy Park, if that helps.

And I think Gramercy Park starts at 21st Street. Maybe that's why Joe mentioned 21st St?

Sure. I found it on Mapquest. I'm all set. Ready for a headcount. Should I make reservations? I got their phone#.

Here's the site

Pete's Tavern

On the corner of Irving Place which is one block west of 3rd Ave.

When we get a count I'll call for a big table.
So far Dag, Frank, Kicky, Dags friend or two and me.

Okay, there's me, you, Joe, Frank...I don't think we need reservations though. I guess you could call when you get here and see what they have to say?

On the other hand, if we meet at, say 7pm, my sister, brother in law, and nephew can maybe still make it. The nephew is 3 1/2 - so mebbe not a good idea to begin with. I'll talk to them and see what they want. Let's keep the plan for now.

OK. Y'all know what I look like, yes? I'll be looking for anyone looking like Joe's avatar. Or Kicky's? That would be difficult, with the smoking ban and whatnot. Or somebody shirtless like Frank.

My sister and them are visiting. We're off to NYC together - it so happens that both my sister and I have business meetings there on the same days. Different groups. Funny that.

I'm staying near Tompkins Park - with a friend who now owns two apartments there - bought an apartment right above his and plans to connect them with a staircase, but it hasn't happened yet. Perfect for us, his friends.
