Ahhhh..no wonder I did not know that as, you see, when I am sleeping, I DONT want any body contact at all, else I cant sleep.

Snuggling is great when you are awake, when I am asleep I am like GET AWAY FROM ME !!

Am I strange or what ?

Really? I love body contact while sleeping; I find that I'm more comfortable and sleep better when holding on to someone... but then, I have always been quite the anomaly, and proud of it...

The one time that I can think of snuggling being overdone is when it isn't in bed... when new couples just start a public display...

used to have a problem with it. then i combined heavy drinking with a relationship and got acclimated to any variety of sleeping entanglements, and got adjusted. i suggest that you do the same, gautam. i expect this might be an endeavor you would enjoy, even if it didn't work.

want ads Question heavy on the want Twisted Evil

Snuggling is good, but my dear sweetie has a tendency to trap me into a small corner - being of the older persuasion, this causes sleeping postures that take days to overcome. I have finally got her to understand that snuggling is for wakeful times and does not decrease my love when asleep but does reduce pain during waking times Smile

Yeah; go on! You never know what might happen if you don't. Conversely, you'll never know what might happen if you do. I'm sure that, considering the expanse of London, you'd be able to find someone compatible. After all, after just three days of living down in London (sleeping on the ground of a mate's flat near the LSE), I found myself an adorable Slovenian stalker! If I can find such a remote thing, I'm sure you'll be able to, with better chances... the only problem is getting through all the duffers before you meet the right person.

If you were to write one, you should write something completely different Very Happy, not adhering to the clichés of "26, live in London, wltm ______." I know someone who wrote 'It involves copious amounts of jelly' as their personal, and the person whom they found is now their partner of 3 years...

Here in the states, 1st offense drunken drivers are generally required to attend a course and an AA meeting. Whatever the equivalent in the UK is, go find it, and find your person there. You are guaranteed to have at least one common interest.

Having been married for the past 20 years, I find it much easier to fall asleep with my mate next to me. If he starts to take over my side of the bed, though, I become all elbows and knees! Biggest problem has to be hogging the covers. Don't you hate waking up cold in the middle of the night? And what about those poor souls who must put up with sleep partners that snore! (Kill 'em, I say!!!)

Gh... snoring partners! :@ They've become such a problem in England, they're selling 'snore-stoppers'; basically sponge things that the snorer puts up his/her nose to stop snoring, without stopping breathing through the nose.. they probably don't work.

I sleep better next to someone- probably because of a lot of long-term relationships- and most got 'elbowy' if I took part of their sides, apart from one who either rolled me off the bed, or laid on top of me... still, better a full bed than an empty one, that's what I say.
