The thought process on this thread has been absent for quite some time. We are mired in the mastoiditis muck of some type of metrorrhagia miasma. And I am scared.
Yikes! gustavratzenhofer is scared, as well he should be, with thoughts of masoiditis and metrorrhagia going through his mind. Serious problems both up and down contribute to a miasma of enormous consequences. I even had to go to Google to figure out what he was talking about. Now I'm afraid Homeland Security is looking at me with suspicion for reserching two such disparate subjects. Just think, I could be considering an act of extreme ouchies and ooies. A much of a miasma for sure. Oh no, here they come---I'll be back, I hope! Will I be deported if I escape into Canada? What about OZ? Oh my God---they look like they're related to John Asscroft!!! oooooh, noooooooooooooooooo

Misunderstood Religion
The Canadian religion known as Gentlemen of Oriented Guidelines is currently under investigation for the deaths of 2 of it's followers.
Who are the Gentlemen of Oriented Guidelines? They are a very small religious cult that began it's roots in Southern France back in 1831 by founder Pierre Grandou. In 1872 Grandou was asked to leave France by French officials, and he and his followers settled down in Manitoba, Canada. The followers, only 471 today, have a strict belief that the male genitalia is the root of all evil, and because of that the members must mutilate their testicles and penis in order to join.
When the religion first began, Pierre Grandou blamed his adultery on his genitalia and decided that the only way to end his sins would be to mutilate his testicles by burning them off with hot coals. He then converted other adulterers, alcoholics, and rapists into his beliefs.
Today's cult is led by Richard Celtnil. Celtnil is being held in a Canadian prison on two charges of manslaughter for the deaths of two members of the cult. Celtnil claims that the men's deaths were unintentional, and self afflicted. The two men, to remain anonymous, bled to death after amputating each others testicles off during a religious service. Celtnil was arrested for allowing the two men to bleed to death. He told the arresting officers that, "We do not believe in the magic and vodoo of today's medicine, and if they were meant to survive the ceremony then God would have saved them."
We were able to catch up with a follower of the Gentlemen of Oriented Guidelines. Since he is a fourth grade grammar school teacher he wishes to keep his identity unknown. Here is what he had to say:
"Celtnil saved my life. I was an alcoholic and he befriended me at an AA meeting. He told me that the only way that I could be free of my illness would be to rid myself of God's deceitful undergarments, my testicles." He then explained that in order to become a member of the cult he had to pour lighter fluid onto his genitalia and then set fire to them. "It was the most rewarding moment of my life", he stated.
(I am pained to see that the false apostrophe in the possessive "its" has made its way into this otherwise sterling testimony!)

Don't blame the whole country for one whacko...personally, I have never heard of this guy, and I certainly do not attend his church, or his Englich (sic) classes.

Cav - don't take it so seriously - religious nuts have mutilated themselves through the ages......testicles have been removed for various reasons - including to retain the pure male soprano after puberty ....I suspect it is a fetish in the case of these guys more than anything else - not really their answer, however foolish, to any wrongdoing. 'Twas just a bit of foolishness that arrived in my email box.
