If Jesus Christ were alive today, would he support the Democratic or Republican party?

How can a dead person's life be examined but by a record of their quotes and actions? Few people here believe the Bible to be accurate, but what other possible method could be used to argue with any reasonable parameters the general character of this guy?

It's not "horrible to a Frenchie" as much as "anti-democratic". Some of your compratriots agree with me, in case you didn't know.

@Finn dAbuzz,
I followed the elections, I know he lost the popular vote but won the college. My point was about the voters giving him anything more then 10%...absolutely freeky ! You sound like you are being sarcastic...I hope that is indeed the case. The only solution I see for Trump is impeechement as soon as it can be done. The price America will pay as a credible leader world wide is far to great if Trump stays to long. I rather have America than China and Russia calling the shots.
Trump is mentally unstable to be controlled by his staff no matter how dumb he is. Trump has to go !

That's because you aren't from any of the countries that have suffered from the over 70 illegal invasions by the US, you haven't had the millions of your friends and relatives slaughtered, your country's wealth stripped.

@camlok,
Have you lived in those countries? Where are you from JTT? I don't think that was ever determined before you disappeared the last time.

Good observation.
When they tried to make him king, he skipped out.

Shall we do a country by country study, Baldimo? I don't think, no, I know that you don't possess the honesty.

A country by country study? For what, to determine what country you are from?

Really, I know you are a lot more intelligent than this, but you have a bug up your bottom on this subject for some reason I can't discern

I'm projecting my politics?

Exactly how?

What are my politics? No politics? I'm saying he was apolitical.

People from both the "right" and the "left" have:

Talked to people from all walks of life
Called out the establishment
Broken laws for righteousness sake
Led a people's revolution

BTW - What people's revolution did he willingly lead? What people's revolution actually occurred? Nothing like that happened.

You apparently want to believe that leftists are so righteous that they can lay claim to Jesus. I doubt very much that he would be happy with such a pretentious assumption.

Why should I cite Bible passages when you haven't?

Btw, I don't think the Jesus of the Bible would place any value in the pontification of a so-called Christian theologian--based on what he said during his life.

But you think he would be right on board with sanctimonious leftists. Very Happy

Of course they do.

Still I would like to know just what horrific, fascist things Trump has done since taking office.

You sound like you are hopelessly disabled by your ideology...I hope that is not the case.

You like to posture in this forum as a Philosopher King. Maybe I'm wrong but I didn't think Plato had uninformed, emotionally motivated, ideologues in mind when he coined that phrase.

He's mentally unstable?

I won't ask you for proof of such an assertion because I know you only have your visceral sense as evidence.

You find that he won "freeky?" Well that sure proves we made a big mistake electing him. Rolling Eyes

Considering that Trump's slogan was "Make America Great Again!" and that he has since made it clear that he intends to pursue an "America First" agenda I'm not sure he really gives a rat's ass about whether or not European socialists are gnashing their teeth or fretting about him.

We agree on something: We want America, and not China or Russia calling the shots. There's no guarantee that any American president can makes this happen, but I'm happy to bet on Trump.

Our last president, who I assume was much more to your liking, never called any shots and watched impotently as Russia invaded the Ukraine and China created artificial island/military installations in the South China Sea.

I'm sorry. I truly like you Europeans, (assuming you are one - you've yet to declare) but you have this nasty habit of viewing US presidents in terms of how it affects you. Fine and dandy, I would too, but don't expect me to take such opinions seriously.

Stick to the esoteric Fil.

Haha. Intelligence doesn't have anything to do with it. Either you know the story of Jesus' life as presented in the Bible, or you don't.

I think I know it. I think I've portrayed it accurately. I think your response is emotion-based rather than following the text of the gospels.

Rather than try to characterize me negatively, I wish someone who disagrees would refute a claim I made by citing opposing scripture. That would be so much more convincing!
