The electricity just came back on after an outage. I don't look forward to outages in the evening but it hadn't gotten dark yet when it came back on. I had called the power outage site on my mobile (I knew I kept that little flipper for a reason, oh, and my flashlights and batteries) and they estimated more hours than it actually took. This improved my mood greatly.

The funny thing, is in the midst of the outage my Bird Clock sang out. 5 pm brings the Canada Goose to the fore.

I also learned a lesson. I had been cooking some tofu (I know, I know, I rarely eat it anymore, this just to plump up a soup) and shut the gas off to tend to possible necessities before it got dark. I immediately realized that was stupid, since the gas has one of the electric ignition systems. Grrr to self.

Since the Hungarian word for police is "rendőrség", I mean, why not call your private security firm "POLISZ"? Cheeky, but kind of clever..

Hasn't found anything that brings smile on my face for at-least now.

Lying in the hospital now wondering when they'd get on with it and why the sedation isn't working, finally ask someone and find out that I'm on the waking up side. Second time that's happened to me. Always cool to find out it's already over.

Nice stress reliever to find out it's suddenly over with.

That is cool. Did everything work out as planned?

It wasn't today, but it was when my brother-in-law's dad said that when he was a kid, he had to walk three miles through two feet of snow to get to school.
