Lunch at a Chinese buffet with my coworkers.
Geez, can these guys eat.
The manager must have been happy to see the back of us.

SMILING to see that the AP has called the outstanding race for US Senator
from Alaska for the GOP's Dan Sullivan, a pro-2nd Amendment fellow.

@FBM,
It's nice that as far as space is concerned we're all united, in same way everyone cheered for Yuri Gagarin and Neil Armstrong, everyone is now cheering for Rosetta. If only we could convert that universal feeling to terrestrial matters.

The problem is disagreement
in regard to how much oppression, collectivism,
and degradation the Individual shud be subjected.

For my part, I 'm pretty resolute in my views.

@OmSigDAVID,
Only you could find fault with a pretty innocuous statement that basically says, wouldn't it be nice if we could all get on. I don't think anyone doubts your resolve, I wasn't talking about World Government or anything like that.

It's quite possible to have differences of opinion but still get on. Now make the most of this, because I'm not going to quote him again, but on this issue he was spot on.

...how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if creatures from another planet would threaten this world. Ronald Reagan.

My statement was comment on your 2nd sentence.

It did not
find any fault in your post, as u allege,
nor did it offer disagreement; my statement was not inconsistent with yours.

Thank u.

I see nothing rong with offering an explanation
of the extant state of affairs
.

I just got a delivery of my home heating oil, and the bill was much lower than last year at this time because the price of oil has dropped.Smile
My oil bills were very high last winter, a combination of the oil prices and the fact we had extreme bitter cold temperatures. Looks like I might save a lot of money this year, so I'm definitely smiling.
