The thought of eating your cat made you smile today? Shocked

Well, as much as I love the little fluffballs, I have to admit that a few of them do deserve to be eaten.

Well, there are some not so cheerful posts here.
More.
So one of employees caught a Greyhound from Cville to Richmond at 4 am Saturday morning. He stayed up all night, because he didn't trust himself to wake up.
He got to Richmond at 7 am and was hanging around for the bus to Raleigh at 9am.
It turns out Greyhound sold 140 seats on a 42 passenger bus.
He waited, along with the other 100 strandees. Many of them were soldiers and there was, in Matt's view, a bit of an issue regarding the soldiers moving a bit aggressively towards the head of the line. He was going to Raleigh, ironically, to welcome his brother home from Afghanistan.
He asked if Greyhound could just send him back to Cville but was told that there could be no changes in destination.

Got to spend a few hours on my favorite downtown block today. A dive bar known for weekend bloody Mary bar, a dive bar famed for cheap drinks and raucousness, a very divey gay bar, a great supper club, and an upstairs massage parlor. All in a row within pissing distance of the capitol.

Not that I partook of the whole block, mind you.

Big pan of scalloped potatoes on the hob at the Dise for the lunch hour and local heavy beer. Winter Monday.

You can pack a lot into an hour if you time it right.
