@George,
Not what would immediately spring to mind, more crime/horror/ black humour. BTW there are lots of Bad Dogs out there, mine isn't released yet, 28th October. I'll pm you a link.

Rhys, Nigel and I had been canoeing on Upper Mystic Lake and were
heading for the dock at the Tufts Boathouse. I was paddling stern
and feeling a bit fatigued in the shoulders and torso. But at least
I hadn't had an upper abdominal cramp. I hate those. I sometimes get
them paddling. The only effective way to stretch them out is for me
to lie on my belly and rise up on my elbows, arching my back. Can't do
that in a canoe. We got to the dock and Rhys and Nigel got themselves
out. I was half-way when the abs seized up. I flopped up onto the
dock, rolled over and went into the arched back position. That's when
I heard Nigel say " . . . and in his previous life, he was a seal."

@George,
Daddy was a harbor seal
and when he's around water,
those ancient mem'ries surface
like an addlepated otter.

(Apologies to sealpoet.)

@sozobe,
Nigel & Rhys canoed forward and back
Catching fish for a future snack
They got the barbie on the deck
But, Oh, my word, what the heck!
Most shocked were they
Lost for words to say
Dad had morphed into a seal
Just to get a sushi meal
Shocked

@izzythepush,
Wonderful, Iz. I am so happy for you, which you know. It's launched.

Just about gives me chills.

On the pms, don't do too many at once - could be thought of as spamming (I don't know the number that warrants that - you might use Contact Us to find out).

Well, hey -
I'll switch subjects to something that makes me frown.
The Guardian hasn't had any of its Once Upon A Life columns in about four weeks. For those who don't know, it's composed of relatively short stories by varied authors about turning points in their lives. Generally fascinating, and the one bloggy thing I've followed now for a long time... as in every saturday here, after 6 pm.
I can't seem to find out what happened, Guardian search being troublesome (not that they are the only ones).

@ossobuco,
Thanks Pet. I've only pmd people who've asked and Spendi, not very many at all. On Saturday the Guardian's a lot of supplements, and I don't read them all, and I'm not too sure whereabouts the stories would appear. It might just be something on the online edition. I'll keep my eyes open anyway, there's been a few changes recently, (the price has gone up 20p)
