Marge Simpson made me smile today. She's doing Playboy, baby!

Bought skis, bindings, boots and poles at Building #19.
All used rental equipment.
The whole shebang cost less than $150.

I only ski a coupla three times a year when we bring Rhys to the Adaptive Ski
School at Loon Mt. But the rentals were killing me.

@George,
Good for you, George!

Any particular areas you'd like to ski in?

@Thomas,
Laughing

They're even running an interview with Marge!

You can read the interview here. (Come on, it's okay, click it -- you're just reading Playboy for the interviews anyway, right? Right.)

@dlowan,
Thank you! Smile

I must say I feel very fortunate at this surprise turn of events. What a stroke of luck!

Now if Ms Poppy stops hissing at Ms Henny during her visits to my yard (which look like becoming a regular thing), we'll all be laughing! Laughing

I didn't cry until they left to get back to the RV park.
The cousins visiting who love me and I are hilarious - we disagree on a lot, far as I know.
We need each other.
We'll see how this plays out over a few weeks (wary, but hopeful).

Anyway, as they left my house and before they drove off I took them over to the access to Unser Boulevard - we first saw a roadrunner, and then a burgeoning covey of quail. Joy for cousins, however we disagree.

It's so nice to have people who love you, osso.
Hilarious together sounds pretty good, too! Very Happy

@msolga,
We'll see, bunch of days ahead.

My cousin's husband used to be a john birtcher. I never engaged him on all that, but my ex did -- x and I are not, ah, all copacetic, but he is cooler re incisive talk.

Meantime, I agree with x and like my cousins.

@ossobuco,
Osso, this is delicious poetry:

Strolling through New York City with my sister Dorothee made me smile today. We walked all the way from Penn Station, up 5th Avenue, to a restaurant called French Roast where we had lunch with Joe Nation. Then we walked over to the Upper East Side, up and down East River, and back for a brief visit at Roberta's.

It was a good day.

I was having another slow and sluggish morning until 11:30 when someone knocked on my bedroom door. It was one of my flatmates... he cooked lunch of broiled fish and a side of homemade mac and cheese and he made me a heaping plate. Very Happy
