Puffy dove! All nice and warm.
the dove's colors were even prettier in real life, especially with the snow.
I missed photographing the cardinals.
There's just something about birds in snow...
caribou, That photo made me smile too. You took it? Smiling even bigger.
I'm glad I can spread the smiles.
yep, I took the photo.

This made me smile today.
That makes me smile as well (okay I was smiling already).
We have a little water fountain and when the birds come and bathe
in it, they look afterwards also a bit chubby - so cute!
Beautiful photo, caribou!
I'm smiling right now.
There's a bob cat in the front of my house right now ripping up the entire front yard.
Now for the new driveway, planters and patio!!!
oh, for a minute there I thought you meant a bobcat as in big kitty....
Guess my brain was still in animal mode.
OMG! So did I. Thought that was one tough pussy to be tearing up the driveway and patio!
Got a design?
Lotsa' stuff made me smile today....mostly Azriel (black cat who's currently stealing the warm spot I just vacated on the sofa)
watching parts of the pre-Oscar red carpet
I just like seeing all those dressed-up people. I appreciate all the effort they go to, to give me something to critique
My mother called today.
She moved to Michigan a few weeks ago and is having a real hard time with it. She moved to be closer to her brother and other sisters . There are a few stragglers from her childhood that still live in the same area as well that made the idea quite appealing to her.
Apparently everything is not all hunkey-dorey as she was hoping.
People have grown apart, and sibling rivalry is so deep you can drown in it.
So, she calls me and just dumps some of her worries on me every now and then and today was one of them.
Jillian and I were home by ourselves when the phone rang.
Usually, it is Daddy calling and little Bean knows this.
So I pick up the phone and start talking with my mom. Jillian climbs into my lap and starts saying " Daddy.. I wanna Daddy..Daddy.. Daddy phone"
My mom hears her and asks to talk to her .
So, I hand Jillian the phone saying " It isnt Daddy, it is Gramma."
Jillian says " Not gramma . Daddy."
I can hear her recognize my mothers voice and she starts a baby conversation with my mom. I go to get a quick glass of water and hear Jillian frantically repeat " I eat **** I eat **** I eat **** I eat **** "....over and over and over again.
I go quickly and grab the phone from little bean as she races to the toilet.
I eat **** - Bean speak for " I need to ****"
My mother has gone from depressed and near tears to laughing so hard she is coughing.
After she caught her breath, I explained how eat and need sound like the same word.
one way or another.. that was funny.
Nice little story, shewolf.
shewolf and Bean made me smile today.
Made a reservation to take Clive up to the Adaptive Ski School at Loon
for a lesson next Saturday. We've worked hard since last winter to build
up his strength. I hope he has fun and does well.
What made me smile was remembering Dancing on Ice on TV last saturday with Torville and Dean dancing to Take Thats 'Shine' song.
