So it happens in YOUR house, too, when chicken is cooking? I gave up on trying to cook & eat chicken alone. Now, when purchasing chicken, I buy some for me & some for my critter. I even have a method: First, I poach his & feed him, so's I can then cook for me in peace! It used to be hell when I had 4 cats, let me tell you!
I'm interested in the breed of you beautiful grey cat. I had one, Rats, that looked very similar. People would goo over him at the vet's & ask if he was a Russian Blue, all sorts of toffy breeds .... I had no idea. He was just a homeless moggy that was thrown over our fence & stayed on.

Yep, chicken & tunafish are meant to be shared. Little Boris is a Russian Blue MIX from our local shelter. Purebred RB's are all grey (no white) with dark green eyes (BK has yellow eyes).
There are reg'ler grey cats too...the difference is their fur...Russian Blues have a really soft undercoat of itty bitty curly hairs that makes them the softest cat ever. RB's are also talkative, with a quiet cry, devoted to one person, very shy of strangers, extremely lovey, and remarkably obedient for a cat. Very sensitive to what goes on around them. Of course I just adore him. He's one of the few cats I've had who does NOT want to go outside...he'd rather I carried him on my shoulder so he can look out the windows.
RB's used to be called "Archangel Cats" from the island where they were found off the coast of, I think, Siberia. They developed naturally, rather than being bred by people, so they're very healthy...only problem is, I hear, they get a little fat. Original RB's had both white spots and yellow eyes, so "purebred" in this sense means "improved by people." So little mixed-breed Boris is more purebred than a purebred!
Done with thread hijack now....
