SO, a theory in science CONTAINS th facts in a body of testable falsifiable evidence that wxplains HOW something happens.
All the facts support the theory and nothing refutes it.
THATS WHAT SCIENCE MEANS WHEN IT USES THE TERM THEORY.
Like Atomic theory, germ theory, The THEORY of Continntal Drift, GAME THEORY, REDOX Thory, and, of course THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION .

It is a hame that in ebster, the eaning of theory has several definitions, and in street english it does mean mere conjecture. IN CIENCE, hoever, youd best be a bit higher up on your game of ord menings if you attempt to incorrectly use a definition that does NOT apply.
