I’ve had to deal with lots of people with dementia, and they are certain they’re right regardless of how ludicrous their claims are, and they get really nasty if you try to put them right.

When I first started working for the social, someone told me if you are dealing with an old couple and one of them thinks they may be suffering with dementia, it’s the other one who has it.

My aunt started to show signs of frontal dementia when she was in her erly 80's. She would take her car and house keys and place them in the butter dish in the fridge. Sh also would "reminisce" about being a piano player (She used to play piano in a supper club back in the 1950's) Her conversations were almost entirely about piano playing with Ferrante and Teischr.

When my wife was dying from cancer cancerous cells got into her spinal column and she would say all sorts of crazy stuff until she got a spinal shunt.
