what i brought up was "posture". my reference was that i was taught to stand up straight and not hunch over.

you made the leap to the purple hearts.

but that's okay. i will not respond to any more posts about that issue.

so let's try it again.

my gym coach told us to stand up straight, suck it in, chest out.

that bush leans on the podium instead of standing straight like a man and and the leader of the most powerful nation on the planet still remains...

Cool

McG, Don't Tread ... didn't bring up "any of this $hit" - i.e., the swiftvets allegations - you did. And a propos of nothing, really.

He just led himself be tempted into responding once again; apparently now thinks the better of it.

Wise decision. If this still is the best you can dreg up ...

Kerry's hands were shaking... He also looked down to the podium when Bush would correct his lack of provable arguments. He was not reading anything he was embarrassed. Bush may have been cocky but he was not embarrassed... Bush stood firm in his stance. Also about the slouching thing. Bush is not a drill sargent he is a politician. He sits most of his time in meetings and slouching is "sometimes" a way of showing people you are comfortable with them. Eye contact and a comfortable stance not rigid. Bush talked to the people, Kerry talked to the moderator. Kerry's breathing sounds like he is a two pack a day guy...

Poor fellow, I can only suggest you have your eyes examined. No one even the staunchest Bush supporter did not see what you did.

McGentrix:

It's so very sad how much you fall for the lies from the Swift Boat Morons. ESPECIALLY since you feel a need to once again use it as a pathetic argument against what is obviously happening here:

Kerry is going to win. Swift Boat Morons be damned.

And as DTOM has indicated, this is really quite over.

I'm referring to BOTH the efficacy of John O'Neil's Swift Boat Morons, as well as Bush's presidency.

Hmmm ... the swift thing should be pretty much over now, but lets not get overenthusiastic about the one bounce in the polls ... there's three debates and a few weeks to go still ... we've been here before. Get overconfident and Bush walks away with "having done better than expected" next time around.

Is this how the thinking works? If it's not on the major netork news it's forgotten about? Maybe that's why the liberal camp forgets about the hunt for Osama and they can then claim the administration is doing nothing about...because it's not in the news every day.

I am sure the swift boat veterans haven't forgotten.

In summer, we have here what we call "the cucumber season". It's when stories that wouldn't withstand the serious scrutiny of hectic news days get played up and played over, while people go holidaying.

Twas a long summer, this year.

Sorry about the old hat then. I ran across this when I was looking for pictures of the democrats waving flags during the 04 convention online. I found some pictures but they are few and far between. Most rallies have flags placed by the democratic candidates but the participants wave signs and not many flags. Not like the republican convention. There is also a rumor online in some forums that someone did try to burn a flag on the democratic convention floor on the last day of the convention.

The Democrats should know better than to pass out flags to their own people.

Add a little vinegar to the fresh cucumber and over time it becomes a sour pickle.
