No surprise who this guy is surrounding himself with for a job he doesn't really want. It's going to be a pyramid of psychopaths. But thank god he's going to reign in that runaway first amendment. That will really help America become all it can be.

I just dont have any patience with all this overly aggressive visceral of hatred for Trump.

Trump is a textbook racial bigot. That alone makes him unqualified to be our president. Add to that his history scamming of people, groping women without consent, his overwhelming lies, his ignorance of our Constitution, and insulting the parents of a hero who gave his life for this country.

@cicerone imposter,
Well, that K guy has a point, ci.

I mean, it's not as if there's been any overly aggressive visceral hatred for Obama or Clinton expressed from the American right.

And besides, Donald Trump is clearly far better prepared to hold the office than either of those other two names I've mentioned. And he's a nicer human too, more honest, more selfless and he's really been the height of ethics and integrity to boot.

@blatham,
I've heard that Planned Parenthood has been enjoying a large increase in donations . Its also been said that, apparently its a movement because , most of these donors have requested that the "thank you" cards be sent to mr Pence

I submitted a $25 donation in Mike Pence's name. Then the same amount for my aunt who was a Trump supporter.

@cicerone imposter,
Trump is so hard to get handle on, he will say one thing then turn around and say another, it is hard to know what he will do. He is surrounding himself with hard core republicans (Pence, Banning...) so, to me, it doesn't look promising regardless of his mixed messages. On the other hand, I am glad people have donated and hope like anything we don't get a Justice which will mess planned parenthood up.

I wonder if democrats will be able to hold justices up the way McCain and them threatened, if they do I bet all the words will be reversed for both sides of the issues including mine.

@revelette2,
I suspect some of our Democrat Senators are now rueing their support for Harry' Reid's removal of the flilbuster option in the Senate for judicial confirmations.

Senator Reid was a gift that keeps on giving.

Gosh !!

There's certainly been none of that visceral stuff coming from you or other Democrats !!
Obama's time as a community organizer and year in the Illinois legislature were certainly a better preparation for high office than Trump's experience building a business.

Give us a break from the nonsensical platitudes.
Surely you've got better material than that somewhere.

@georgeob1,
Let's face the facts, George; anyone who becomes president has not had that much experience or responsibility. There's no other government position that encompasses the responsibility of the president.

@reasoning logic,
It matters not who becomes president; it's how they perform as president for all Americans. We won't know until historians rate him against all other presidents.

It's true, we don't think much of Trump. Of course, we're not alone in these opinions. I'll remind you again of the two dozen or so conservatives who contributed to the National Review special edition describing why they all despised the man as well. And that was a small portion of conservatives who agree with me and other liberals.

"Community organizer". The problem there is what exactly? You spit out the term as if it means communist or drug pusher. Or maybe some dude who sexually assaults women because he thinks his status gives him some right to do so. It is, of course, very precisely a political activity. And his time in the Senate is time Trump has not had. But the seriously silly aspect of your comment is the omission of Obama's education in constitutional law (and everything else he learned on his way through his education). Trump, obviously, is the most incurious and poorly educated person to ever arrive in the WH. You can argue that's a good thing but that just makes you sound crazy.

Give us a break

No more breaks, george. You and your friends in the redwood crowd have done something more damaging to America's future as a democracy than anything I've seen in my lifetime.

Let me help you out. I will be the first Historian who has studied cluster B personality disorders to give his/her view.
I have to say from my understanding the world will view us in the future the same way many of us view old laws that legalized slavery in the past.
They will think we were as ethically evolved as apes for allowing Hitlary and Donald to be our main choices for president.
