Sorry 'bout that, dan. We had our first killing frost here in Eastern Mass. last night. Tops of cars all white with rime this morning. But Indian Summer's on its way.

Hi, everyone...

My daughter had a big appointment at a hospital with her Encocrinologist yesterday that took several hours (tests, tests and more tests - usual stuff for a diabetic under really good care), so I did my clicking right at midnight and was too tired to get on the Internet last night after watching the debate...It was a long day! Looks like I missed a bit of excitement, though...so much so that it even brought Aa and andrew T back into the Rainforest again! Way to go, Wildclickers!!! Very Happy

Welcome back, pwayfarer! We missed you but it sounds like you had an "almost" great time in France. Really wish you hadn't been sick during your trip, but I'm glad you were able to go and enjoy yourself, anyway. Take care of yourself and get well soon...Then we want to hear all about your trip! Smile (P.S. You're welcome! Zazu and I will click for you anytime!)

Finally beginning to feel better- these respiratory things take a while.
Some one of you wizards has to tell me how to post on MyFamily - I'm anxious to share some photos.

Hi wayfarer,
It's easy to post photos on MyFamily - husker can explain it to you - it's his site. I'm looking forward to seeing your photos. You are really a great photographer. Glad to hear you are feeling better. Stay in and stay warm, I hear it's getting cold up there.

"Relaxin in the sunshine and,
Clickin away here in Texasville!!"

Fine fall day here in eastern North Carolina. Wish I were closer to the coast so that I would be underneath a flyway or two.

Matrix-- sending good thoughts to you and your daughter.
Wayfarer-- glad to hear you're on the mend. It's easy to post on MyFamily. Just click on [Add Photo] then browse for your files. You can add five at a time. Once uploaded, you can add descriptions, etc. It's helpful if you make notes ahead of time as to date taken and location so you don't have to edit info later.

Want to thank everyone again for your kind thoughts and good vibes regarding my Dad. He finally passed away yesterday, in his sleep. Interestingly, today is Mom's birthday, so I guess he decided to celebrate with her this year. We are fine-- it was actually a relief for him and for me. He is in a better place and I now have my own life back.

Still clickin'

just susan,
I am so glad that you look upon death as natural consequence of life.

Yes, Jean. Everything that has life must give it up one day. If I knew a way to prevent it, I'd be rich.

just susan, Our sympathies to you and your family.

I read something back in the early '60s that's always stuck in mind - - - "Who knows whether death, which men in their fear apprehend to be the greatest evil, may not be the greatest good?" Socrates

just susan- obviously your dad lived his life well. I celebrated my dad's death when he went, more than 15 years ago. He needed to see my mother again. I was so proud of him - he really put everything he had into life, worked practically up to his death at 89 and managed to be the youngest person I've ever known. Having such wonderful memories is a gift, and I appreciate it.

Thanks, stradee, danon and wayfarer.

Wonderful quote from the wealth of Socrates' timeless wisdom. So true.

Our Irish roots demand that we also celebrate a soul's passing from this world to the next. There's gonna be a whole lotta toastin' goin' on!
